My realtor told me that frequently when you buy a home in Citrus County (Inverness, Citrus Springs, etc. ) the Tax Appraiser starts a reassessment on the property and will hit the new buyer with a 300% increase in their property taxes. The Tax Appraiser site does give you a warning- Buyer beware, these taxes are subject to change and can reset based on market value for the new owner. No Joke!! I verified that with the Tax Collector. Nice video. Retiring soon and want to get out of R.I. for many reasons including the relatively high COL. My husband and I did a lifestyle cost to The Villages the past August and very much liked the community appearance and the amenities it has to offer the residents. Seen enough pros and cons videos about this community so will not be buying with eyes wide shut. TV is not a cheap place to live but much cheaper than R.I.
Glad to see Inverness on this list but I must ask . "when was the last time you drove here"?? Well it pathetic.gigantic p.u. trucks that show up suddenly up your butt that are ready to push you out of the way, traffic lights that are carefully coordinated so you have to stop @each one......... oh yeah, a favorite that is constantly broken is the pass-on-rt. slower traffic on the left..... oh... cant forget the real observant drivers that like to do 55 down those streets in the Highlands with a 25 mph. speed zone. Yea, you really get p++++d when you have little cats that have been smashed by their respectful, courteous driving. I could go on...... but my favorite driver goes to the "i'm the only one on the road" genius... so she will cut across Hwy. 44 where you slam on your brakes & horn......... only to get the the finger........................................
If you’re a Dem retiree on fixed income, go to Gainesville or Tallahassee, but cheaper if their outskirts. You’ll fit in there. Everywhere else is Trump country and you’ll be miserable.

Im moving to Florida next year near tampa where would you suggest
Wesley chapel -
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS I live in Wesley Chapel and it's become way too crowded. Traffic is awful. It used to be a quiet, rural community, but now it's being developed at a rapid pace. A lot of homes are going up and stores and malls popping up everywhere. Avoid.
Dunedin 🌴
You tell it like it is! Nick Johnson is a jerk, you are COOL.
Indeed, Briggs is the worst one though.
Thank you
Okeechobee is Great !!! 💯⭐️
Nice towns, I wouldnt have thought of these some time ago but with covid and the nuts going to political extremes, a place like some of these towns doesnt sound too bad.
Dunnellon is ok because the rainbow river attracts rainbows?
What is crime rate in these towns?
Do they have Mobil Home in those área?❤️🌹👍thanks
This video is not too crappy
Thanks for talking about Ocala FL I own my condo

@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS
Ok.
When the video started it felt like if I had seen it before.
Thanks for clarifying !!!
@@Dangic23 The intros are all similar
Don’t promote your channel by dissing others. Poor class.
What do u think of Parrish?
I dont like that area personally.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS I didnt also. what was ur reason? Snobbish?
@@LongLeggedOne not its a bad location. Near nothing nice
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Its like a limbo spot between a lot of stuff, but nothing beside it. No. Its like 30 + min to all stuff almost. Ok if u dont like to leave the house but if u like to go out, it wouldnt be good. Not a lot of good stuff up that way.
@@Mike-ug8yc I like Parrish if u dont go to the subdivisions.. and I also like those Hillsborough towns like Sun Cit Center, getting close to Tampa but a bit out. Wimauma too. ruskin. Parrish is more expensive than those i feel now.
So Parrish has built new stuff huh? for a long time, its had tons of homes.
Honestly not digging the put downs on other youtubers, esp at the very beginning. Those guys actually talk about facts found on the internet and other people’s opinions who have lived in those places(I’m sure) because everything they have said I have actually read as well. Most people prefer facts and statistics over opinions.
They are making massive bank putting out bad information
Any snakes and alligators?
I think I saw you fishing in macro
😅 maybe. Theres a guy in naples that looks just like me
Gracias Jose! ...us boomers need the good lists for affordable ;))
(Briggs just had Englewood in his list too..)
Where are the coolest temps in FL?
Its a nice town
MOST STATES HAVE ATTACTIONS: FLORIDA HAS A_TRASH_SINS
lol =D
Poor Englewood and Venice were hit hard by Ian.
venice? barely. we went to venice after ian cuz they were still ok
I hope I haven't offended you by inquiring about your dad if so I sincerely apologize
Videos should say, Places where you die out of being bored to death, lol. If you’re 80 years old then I guess that works for ya
Thank you good info.....cool video
Sebring is a wonderful town
MMMM, Peace River Seafood! soundsYummy
Its great!! And the walls are covered with dollars! The $10 cuban pesos left by me
all those towns north of Tampa be prepared to live with a lot of Karens and Kens. Just saying don't be surprised if you notice a white hood in their closet.
What????? Future section 8 building in citrus springs?
So? Whats wrong with that? Enjoy your new home. Its a great area.
I think the pic of Labelle is my dad.
I live in ocala been here all my life 352
TV is not a cheap place to live but much cheaper than R.I.
if you are elderly or older its a great place to live w view to amenities. For a young person perhaps not quite the spot.
Why do you have to post this to give people ideas we are fucking full!!!!!!
SO TRUE
Palmetto, check us out. We got it all.
Crime statistics is important to put in a video like this one
Crime stats? Half the time rich areas let you off to keep crime rates low on paper its BS
DeLand
Glad to see Inverness on this list but I must ask . "when was the last time you drove here"??
Well it pathetic.gigantic p.u. trucks that show up suddenly up your butt that are ready to push you out of the way,
traffic lights that are carefully coordinated so you have to stop @each one......... oh yeah, a favorite that is constantly broken
is the pass-on-rt. slower traffic on the left..... oh... cant forget the real observant drivers that like to do 55 down those
streets in the Highlands with a 25 mph. speed zone. Yea, you really get p++++d when you have little cats that have been smashed
by their respectful, courteous driving. I could go on...... but my favorite driver goes to the "i'm the only one on the road" genius...
so she will cut across Hwy. 44 where you slam on your brakes & horn......... only to get the the finger........................................
drivers in that region of Florida ARE HORRIBLE - not the case here in Alabama
I agree about the drivers up there very rude
Did you say "shark fishing on the Peace River is amazing?" (8:33). Umm...no. Collecting prehistoric shark TEETH, yes. But...no sharks.
further down, its FULL of sharks people do that
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Oh. So you mean by Charlotte Harbor...some 50 miles away from Wauchula. I gotcha.
If you’re a Dem retiree on fixed income, go to Gainesville or Tallahassee, but cheaper if their outskirts. You’ll fit in there. Everywhere else is Trump country and you’ll be miserable.
Nick has more info in his videos like important stats like crime and schools
We have the best governor in the country, and he is REPUBLICAN. Thank God for Ron DeSantis.
Thanks for the heads up. Can't do stupid.
