    Your patience with tiny P.E. parts is remarkable and the weathering will be my benchmark for the remaining luftwaffe bombers in my stash. A seriously nice job sir.

    Nice work, but a word of advice : before using Tamiya panel line accenter on a matt paint, one should add a coat of acryl gloss clear for better accentuation.

    More than what it's benefits are worth I actually see no benefits to all the extra work 👌

    Amazing, I just built the revell ju88 a4 recently and it was such a lovely kit to put together, and the camo scheme was nice.

    I built this too, I enjoyed it so much I bought the 1/48 version.Btw this is an ICM kit reboxed by Revell. If you check the country of manufacture it's Ukraine.

      Thanks for watching!
      Yhea, 1/48 kit is made by ICM but 1/72 is Revell’s original, as far as I know🙂

    that's really great and i have a question do you need an airbrush for this?

    • @MODELBOX1
      @MODELBOX1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can start by painting with a brush at first. I recommend acrylic paint that dry late. But painting with airbrush is easier and prettier than painting with this brush.

    Excellent and very informative build... Unfortunately once again (you are not alone to do so) it is sometimes dangerous to blindely follow the kit manufacturer colour call out. The use of RLM 66 cockpit interior colour on Luftwaffe planes is reportedly a practice later to the production date of Ju-88 A1 (and A0) series and even early A5 series. Unless you have a contrary information from a reliable source, these parts should have been finished in RLM 02 grey-green ! It is a too common practice of many internet reviewer and builder to adhere strictly to the box instructions and not to refer to more reliable and historically correct sources. I am presently contemplating the build of the superior Tamiya F4U 1/72 scale Corsair kits (F4U-1 Birdcage, F4U-1A and F4U1D) I have acquired and as I researched thoroughly the internal colours from very precisely documented references I cannot but definitely say that the manufacturer's instruction are mostly inaccurate as far as interior colours are concerned both for cockpit colouyrs and other internal areas... Despite that, all the 1/72nd builds of these kits I saw on the Internet followed Tamiya's instructions. I'm far from bieng as skilled and gifted as you are when it goes to paint or assemble a kit, but I think taking some times to research the subject of the real plane will make your model not only an artistic masterpiece but also a "piece of History".

    Is there any other option how to paint the plane? For example, with some other colors?

      Anything! Enamel, lacquer, arcylic paint.
