    And tonight I saw CNN reporting that Donald Trump "gave them the slip" after he left Trump tower and went for dinner.
    They went on to say that they hope he doesn't continue to treat the media so poorly.
    It is crazy.

      Is it the same Ben who predicted trumpocalypse and landslide victory of Killary Cliton, just few weeks before the election day, when all the independent right-wing groups were talking about massive Trump support that only even more massive fraud can beat.

    As a liberal, i completely disagree with 90 percent of what Ben says but its nice to actually see somebody who can articulate his points like he does. He is my go to person when it comes to getting the rights perspective

      Bryant Kauk I can agree with this statement. As a libertarian, I to disagree with some of what comes out of Ben, but I listen to his podcast more than anyone else.
      Keep it up Ben!

      mind me asking you what points you disagree with ben on?

    • @Pigeons420
      @Pigeons420 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes of course, but may I add that I'm also a Canadian and I have the pleasure of "watching from the sidelines"
      In Canada we are a larger welfare state. I'm a strong believer of an extensive public health care system.
      I also don't categorize the left as "lazy weed smokers" haha.
      I feel we differ in opinions in regards to crime prevention and rehabilitation. He takes a harder stance on criminals than myself.
      But these are just to mention a couple.
      I really enjoy Ben's show and I think Ben and I would get along just great if we had a beer together. (Maybe a joint too haha)
      Cheers for the conversation!

      Vin, I've spent sometime watching Info Wars but I really can't handle the tin foil hat conspiracies. Fox News is a beast of its own but at least they attempt to bring the actual story to the front just with their own strange commentating or spin.
      Cheers Vin!

    What exactly is wrong with wanting to preserve western/European culture?
    If you diversify a country too much, the culture is diluted and we essentially get a largely secular country. It's easier to rule, but the national identity is weaker and I would say that it would weaken resolve and ambition from people in general towards helping their country.

      I'm new to Ben but from what I've seen he's been quite a hypocrite concerning anything Trump plenty of highly credible people saying look at the poll methodology they are over sampling democrats besides, there has been no actual evidence of Trump assaulting women yet he has perpetrated this as if it was fact. I looked up Ben Shapiro and Steve Bannon and what I found is a fight between them over one of Breitbart's workers Michelle Fields who claimed one oTrump's campaign people assaulted her. Ben played the white knight and they were both forced to resign than later the videos which was suppressed comes out and shows clearly there was no assault so I don't know how credible Ben is when it comes to the subject of Trump and people he associates with.

    • @XSilentDiscipleX
      @XSilentDiscipleX 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Endless Slumber The vast majority of statisticians didn't see problems with the polls. The polling organizations addressed the make up of their sample populations, and did everything by the book. The polls were EXTREMELY close when Election Day finally came, so it's not like they were completely negated.

      The concern isn't over race, but cultural assimilation. Ben's view of it is typical SJW strawmanning, nothing more. I don't think those people are against people coming from other cultural backgrounds as long as they can assimilate.

    • @Kevin-qy9wf
      @Kevin-qy9wf 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      SalesBro lol have you watched a single video besides this one? He literally has hundreds of videos on cultural assimilation from Islam, BLM, etc. Pointing out the flaws of centralized government and condemning white supremacy is far from "SJW strawmanning" But you are free to have a different opinion. Enjoy praising Milo and David Duke.

    Of all the races of humanity, each has created its own respective culture. To think that race and culture isn't intrinsically linked seems naive and idealistic. Sure, individuals can adopt culture, but on the whole, nations have the culture and government they deserve. Some may also point to geographical isolation as a root cause of these differences, but even so, Western culture has been the most successful culture the world has ever seen. Despite this, only Japan, South Korea, and a few other places were able to recognize that an adopt some Western ideas into their own culture. This would suggest that although Western Culture is ripe for copying, it is still incompatible with certain nations, regardless of how abundant Western ideas, values and culture is.

    • @jacemankins
      @jacemankins 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree to a point, but I would argue that American culture and British culture has pretty significant differences. I think culture can apply to nationality too. Black people in Africa are way different than blacks in America.

    Ben is completely mistaken about the French National Front. They don't say there should be no assimilation of immigrants, on the contrary. They say the current immigrants are NOT integrating/assimilating and that it is a problem. Marine LePen has said their current problem is that instead of becoming French, the immigrants simply live on French soil and keep their entire cultural idendity and traditions etc. (i.e: shariah in muslim ghettos). I am disappointed that Ben is just eating up the media narrative about the National Front. (I speak French and have watched Marine's speeches unedited and without subtitles)

    I have to ask - if so many of those who identify as 'alt right' do not behave in a way that indicates that western values are only compatible with those of western-European descent, how can you honestly say that's the definition of 'Alt-Right'? It's not so different from those who claim that Feminism is all about equality, yet the modern wave of feminism is more about female superiority and grievance-culture. That may have been the definition of 'Alt-Right' at one point, just as 'increasing women's rights to match those of men' was the definition of feminism, but neither of those seem applicable given the sorts of people who call themselves 'Alt-Right' and 'Feminist'.

    I'm going to provide my personal perspective on the protests as a person from the left. And I say this here because while I disagree with Ben Shapiro on a lot of issues, I respect him because he seems to be a man who values honesty and integrity more than a lot of voices on the right.
    I would not have protested this last week in Los Angeles if the winner had been Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio. I disagree with their politics but an election is an election and the winner is the winner. Democrats will have another chance in 4 years, whatever. On the other hand, I cannot bear having Trump in the White House. His character is abhorrent, he is vulgar, he stands for nothing but self-enrichment and opportunism, and his ignorance, ineptitude, and lack of self-restraint is a serious danger to America. I protest his election because we have a whiny simpleton with a finger on the nuclear codes.
    George W. was no genius, but at least he had decorum, some humility, and enough sense not to resort to petty retaliation for perceived insults. I don't believe Trump has enough empathy to think outside of himself for 10 minutes straight and his election is contributing to the dumbing down of America. I hope Conservatives will reject him and embrace a candidate they can be proud of next time around, because he is really embarrassing, frankly.

      With Trump? Policy-wise, he wants to cut taxes that disproportionately benefit the wealthy AND pass a huge infrastructure spending program at the same time, and balloon the debt. I think that's something liberals and conservatives can agree should not happen, because he will only do it to increase his popularity in the short term while wrecking the progress we've made on the deficit over the last 8 years.
      I agree that the border needs to be secured, but a wall doesn't seem to be the answer when there is already record of tunnels being used and -duh - ladders exist. Another waste of, what, 20 billion dollars?
      The forced deportation of 10 million people is both morally iffy (INS knocking on doors in the middle of the night? Lots of tears and blood would be shed, this is an ethical and PR nightmare) and expensive to execute. His whole immigration stance seems to be raw meat to his xenophobic base and doesn't seem to be a serious solution.
      He wants to eliminate the ACA - fine - but he doesn't seem to have an idea of what to replace it with. He said he wants to keep the ban on pre-existing condition discrimination, but a lot of the structure of Obamacare, like the individual mandate, exists to offset the cost of that policy, so he doesn't seem to even understand what's in the law or why it was written the way it was.
      There's not one specific policy that bothers me that much, it's more of the fact that he is just an obvious con man that seemed to have run on a whim and has no idea how to govern and has no interest in the needs of actual people. I hope I'm wrong, but the man's been in the public eye for years now and I am amazed that 60 million people can't see how transparently empty his promises are.

    Alt-right is more like, we the people desire laws that order society and we feel the Constitution embodies our Founders views of excellent standards as put forth in Blackstone's Law Commentaries. We also stand on historic Judeo/Christian tradition as a fair and time-honored code for Civilization. I do not believe the color of skin factors into these standards. "We hold these truths to be self evident that all men are created equal, they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness." This is the code that drives these United States and it took a while to get it right. MSM, you are done, now go away because this train is finally on the track again, thanks President-elect Trump.

    I hope this signals the end of the republican party and conservatives as we know it. The right wing should leave Reagan alone and resuscitate the true greats Edmund Burke, William F Buckley, and give more exposure to Thomas Sowell. The Libertarians have an opportunity here to make some headway against republicans, if they can choose better people than the looney Gary Johnson. Classical Liberalism and the Austrian school of economics are far more appealing than the evangelical conservatism that's plagued the GOP for far too long.

    Hate to disagree with Ben, but Alt Right means the "alternative right" i.e., the people on the right that don't fit the normal mold, like LGBTs for conservative policies or libertarian constitutionalists. Unfortunately, white nationalists are also a group that fits this definition of Alt Right.

      So real talk question then. If we consider white supremacy evil. Why do we not consider BLM evil as well. they are the same coin flipped. IF it has anything to do with white people it is evil. If it has anything to do with any other race its Saintly. Sorry I don't bite anymore. I do agree with white nationalism. I am not a racist. I think my European culture has just as much rights as any other culture. I wont shame my culture like our country is currently doing. all cultures should be equal within America none need to be shamed. this is not the 1800's nor the 1900's. The abolishment of slavery is over 150 years old and the equal rights movement has squashed in equality for the most part. Now Equal rights is Pandering to be better then your fellow American. We as a country need to publicly see each other as Americans or we will face destruction in race wars. What you think privately about your race or another race is your right. If we are allowed to have a latino culture, black culture, Asian culture LGBT culture, then there is plenty of room for a White culture. Sorry being a minority should not make you special, Just a equal American citizen with your private culture.

      Yeah, I suppose there is no real definition of the Alt-Right. Hell, I kinda thought I was part of this Alt-Right movement. But from what I hear from Ben, and from the mainstream media, I cannot be part of it. I am of Mexican decent, although I have nothing to do with Mexico. I pledge my allegiance to the U.S, I am 3rd generation American. But I do want what is absolute what is best for the U.S too. But according to them, I can only be a white, and a nationalist. Confusing to say the least.

    I don't like the European far right but the center right people more in line with the acre parties tend to be more in line with small government, free markets, individual freedoms, fiscal austerity, self government and preference of smaller more local governments to govern in favor of larger governing institutions.

    Just FYI, Shapiro has a biased opinion of Bannon. He can't comment honestly about him because he's because he's still salty about leaving Breitbart for supporting Trump. Nice try Shapiro, once a Never Trumper, always a Never Trumper. Don't go cozying up to Trump now. Your credibility is in shambles because of this election season.
