From all the travel blogs one stand out and that's yours, what you are creating and what ends in uploads is AMAZING and really the best so far, funny, informative, and for all the good editing. You are an inspiration. THX hope you enjoyed your AMSTEL BEER in Burundi.
Great to see you in my hometown of Austin, Texas! If anyone is confused why he’s making such a big deal about Whole Foods that’s actually the flagship Whole Foods HQ PPPeter visited so it’s the creme de la creme.
When I was in Holland, I loved teaching the kids wild American expressions off eating like "I'm going to murder this" or "I'm going to kill this this beer!"
I’m from Midwest America (possibly the most “friendly-to-strangers” part of the country). Even though I’m considered more on the introverted side here, it’s hilarious to see just how weirded out the rest of the world is to American friendliness. Smiling to strangers and waving to em while walking or driving outside is just normal to me. I should add, this American stereotype isn’t true everywhere. Much of the east coast (particularly the Philly area) is incredibly rude by Midwestern standards, but I guess this would be more normal for Europeans. I’ve had interactions in Philly where I’ll smile at someone or hold the door open for them and they’ll think I’m trying to mug them or something. I feel like a good comparison to Midwesterners is North English people, from what I hear.
Here in Europe sincerity is more common, than a fake kindness. That's one of the main difference between american and european attitude. If a european have a shitty day, then you will know that he has a bad day, you won't get a fake smile or anything. Furthermore a european probably won't ask a question if he isnt honestly interested in the answer (e.g. "how are you?"). Of course its not 100% same all over in Europe, as its not the same all over in USA, there are differences between the countries/states. I don't say that it's better or worse, both attitude has the positive and negative sides. So it's just different and also weird if you are not used to it.
@@dav1208 As a non American, I don’t see it as “fake kindness”. I don’t see the need to use such a nasty and negative description to describe what’s an overall positive thing about another country’s culture. Who wants to go out there and see nastiness on some stranger’s face when they haven’t done anything wrong to them. Moreover Europe is a continent and I have found that every country there is very distinct. Totally cannot compare with the US with all parts of the US share much similarities in culture.

As an American, I am perfectly fine making fun of America. It's the whole reason we have the first amendment and it's one of the reasons I love this country so much. Try to make fun of xi Jinping or the Thai king.
But you can’t make jokes about 👨🏿, as in other countries

There was a meme trend on those this is just a video
But where is first amendment when it comes to jokes about POC?
"Making fun of" and Facts are diffrent tho, Facts make Americans Very angry.
