Scott’s sheer determination to play the bassline from final fantasy 2 is able to make drums to somehow play out of nowhere, without Kim even needing to do anything.
Evil second comment time: this one video and my slight obsession with the battle 1's bass accidently snowballed into me playing a bunch of final fantasies, whoops.
I'm sure you've already gotten this one, but we never got the original FF2, 3, or 5 in the west, and FF4 & 6 were labeled as 2 & 3. It wasn't until later, with games such as Final Fantasy Anthology, that we'd get those older titles. So, technically speaking, he's not wrong.
Goofing around with FF Midis, you can hear the fully formed layers to the song, this part is enough to be the hook of a whole song, the baseline from "Those Who Fight Further" is great too yet even if you listen for it you can't hear it.
+MyNameIzEpic I drew over one of the sprites from the Mother 4 fangame in Photoshop (though Paint would work just as good), based on my IRL hair and favorite t-shirt! EDIT: I have since changed it to a sprite one of my friends on Twitter made based on a picture of me. But that's the main idea of how to do it!
I don't know how, but you managed to make Michael Cera even creepier than before.
He was never creepy to begin with, but 1:07 is hilarious.
@@Freshy10 nah 2:25 was better
@@Freshy10 The video is 58 seconds long?
nah, but 6:07 is the best@@Freshy10
No its not @averycables

scott pilgrim vs the world is a real movie but manages to feel like a fever dream
They could've put this in the movie and it would've fit.
I like how Kim wants to say something into the mic but then decides not to
Scott, you're the salt of the earth.

Lol
U mean ff4?
The video is about ff4 though that makes no sense
@@Strixyy. they meant the screen effect that also happens in ff7 when you enter a battle
Despite it being from Final Fantasy (I guess), it sounds like a Crash boss song, due to the prominent bass sounding.
Exactly
I thought this too

Garlic bread make you fat?

Which one of you went to Japan in the late 1980s-early 1990s to learn that it was actually Final Fantasy IV???

This YTPs way ahead of its time mate.
"Scott you're the (Final fantasy bassline in 8bit playing) of the earth"
Micheal Cera’s bass should be a Vocaloid 😍😍
final fantasy 2 plays ff4 bassline
