Thank you for sharing this. I have always been fascinated with the Metra Electric. One of the very few electricfied commuter railroads in the USA. Most of it is barely documented to this day.
It's nice to hear a Metra bell go ding not dink. Good video. It wasn't until a year ago that I found out about this branch, and I lived and railfanned in Chicago for 60 years.

That McCormick Station looks new. I know when I rode back in the mid 90s that it was sparse with narrow platforms and was rather dark to boot.
I love Metra and cta trains. They are best trains ever.
