It was awesome to hear a modern engineer say they wish they could run E unit locomotives for nostalgia!! That would be awesome. The E’s and F’s were my favorite diesels of all time, love those streamliners
@@RailwayProductions Hey Les, I loved the Chicago's Metra video as a kid. When I was 11, I travelled on the Metra Electric District from Randolph Street to 55th-56th-57th Street on a trip to Chicago. Which Metra line is your favorite?
@@RailwayProductionsOh yes, "The Racetrack." Also loved the scene of the Southwest Chief playing cat and mouse with a Metra train in America By Rail: Route of the Southwest Chief. Have you ever considered possibly making videos of trains outside North America such European and Japanese bullet trains?
For anyone interested, Metra's TH-cam channel has locomotive cab ride along vids for all but the UP lines. The series got interrupted by covid. Many of the lines are covered in both directions.
I recall a Metra spokesperson stating at one point while the series was still active that the UP was not permitting Metra crews to ride along in the fireman's seat for the purposes of filming a ride along video.
This is Isaiah wiley from myrtle Beach south Carolina sending another great comment I wonder 🤔 if making a great railroad cab ride video these days is allowed please write back soon have a great day on TH-cam.
I have a list of questions for you re: your content and your knowledge of all the railroads that you’ve covered - is there a good place where I can ask you those questions? Facebook messenger? Email?

Les would you do Steam in the Great Lakes Next Wendsday.
Never knew they ran Amerail cab cars on the Milwaukee lines
Me either. Probably ran on all the lines when they were new. Occasionally you’ll still see one on the line
The Amerails were awesome when they had K5LA’s before they were renovated.

Very Awesome Cab Ride!
i like train vidoes on youtube👍
Could you do Cab Ride Through The Rockies please? Been waiting for it for a long time. Would like to find out about the Moffat Tunnel.
Not regular trailer coach, but a gallery, double-deck coach.
Is it weird that I like to consider this Cab Ride DVD to be stand alone when comparing it to the other Cab Ride series? ^^'

just because there's a cab on top of the car doesn't mean it's a cab car, cause it's still a passenger car
That’s the definition lol
Cab distinguishes from trailer.
