    The city needs cops like Crane. By the book when doing the their job. Good or bad Crane's judgment always feel heavy with law and common sense. But still a funny character.

    the talk after this with a couple cops in the back room really showed how down bad cops are when they lose a case. im not sure if its just because its ramee and they wanted to ruin the mayoral campaign, since the cop who had ramee literally mentioned it trying to be a dick. But, the cops wanted to act like crane was going against everything they do as police officers during an arrest. complaining to him that he used the phrase "investigative purposes had expired" as meaning that they arrest people wrong.

      Yeah they were heavy copium during the talk, sorry for shooting you down, but we're going to cast a drag net and find something gg ez. That's fucked if they allow cops have that much power even when they fucked up and shot him, when they don't have evidence to tie him to the situation

    • @ProfessionalBob
      @ProfessionalBob 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Crane said that he personally could tell that Ramee committed all the crimes they charged him with, but the cops failed to prove any of them to the standards of the court. Why is it bad for the cops to then want to have a talk with him and find out what went wrong, so that they don't make the same mistakes in the future?

    • @ohsnap6506
      @ohsnap6506 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@ProfessionalBob crane also said that they couldn't even investigate further than gsr anyways, because they were looking for a gunman, the other shit wouldn't of mattered because probable cause would of been over with the negative gsr, you missed the entire point of the judgement. The cops did illegally searched and detained him way to long

    • @Exknight2
      @Exknight2 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ohsnap6506 It's simple, they know there was a shootout, they move in to get the suspect aka cg/ramee but gsr is negative so the suspect is no longer the suspect since it's not the person they are looking for but they wanted to get something on him(?) anyways, which legally does not stand.

  • @kiptaylor3567
    @kiptaylor3567 2 ปีที่แล้ว +63

    One of the cops later asking Crane a "what-if" scenario, where cops stop checking GSR after a similar scene in order to prolong their timephrame and confirm more charges, was amazing. Crane is like....
    "Let me stop you right there, because that is now police acting in bad faith."
    Like damn cops really feeling they are down bad to the point they consider manipulating the scene in order to boost their win rate XD

      Hail Mary? it's actually surprising Crane said they shot in good faith because it's kinda crazy you can lose visual of someone and then gun down anyone who looks like them. I feel like the only way you can say that for sure is through OOC info knowing that group was driving around shooting cops

    This is why I said that you cannot make someone guilty by association in the scene of incident/crime/event. There need to be procedures taken and adhered. If the cops are just going to willy nilly it by saying, "I saw you there, even if you were negative" then it would lead to bad faith in cops... Oh well~

      Also anyone driving a motorcycle is wearing black and a black helmet usually. Luckily ramee was wearing a helmet and not a mask so cops can't say he was a suspicious person

    • @squidiz496

      Yeah its kinda hilarious how the alot of cops in nopixel have worse judgment then irl crooked cops. You can't shoot unarmed people that you suspect of shooting if you didn't see a weapon or have a very detailed description. And obviously irl, a guy who gets lit up with an automatic rifle is probably not gonna be defending himself in court lol. The decision to shoot cannot be you assuming it's the suspect based off of their vehicle alone unless there is visible evidence.

      Ramee was rolling with the gang on motorcycles, everyone but him shot the entire multiple scenarios. He was called out over the pd radio and they set up to magdump the perpetrators. Ramee gets gunned down (Justified in good faith belief of a fleeing felon) They investigate further by administering a GSR test and it comes back negative. At that point and time their probable cause for the investigation ends. They search him anyway violating his constitutional rights and find a gun on him that doesn't link to any scene prior to detainment. They gather evidence but forget to gather all of the evidence because the scene was so chaotic and Ramee was pissed off yelling at the cops adding further chaos. He sits in the cells after being administered medical aid for 45 minutes and is the last one processed even though he and Vinny were the first ones there. Everyone ends up getting caught. Ramee takes it to a bench trial. Ramee solos the entire PD in court and wins because cops didn't follow proper procedure.

      20 minutes for gsr is perfectly fine. Its up to the cops to get things done properly and efficiently. the whole reason its not longer is because it gives criminals a chance to try and rp their way out of a shooting.

      @@NovemberFoxtrotRC I’m talking about GSR only lasting 1 hour max and cops not GSR testing people if it was a long chase. Because they are assuming it would be negative (skipping cop procedures) for mechanics rp. And people are going GSR on crims side because they did 8 swaps and out ran the GSR mechanic and brining it up in rp.
