Laughed when I saw you use a pillow for placing elastic! I did that recently as I made a singlet for my son. Worked great and helped tremendously with placement. Used bed pillows for body and throw pillows to fill legs, we nicknamed him George! :)Thanks for your video's you've been a big help as I start my new hobby as gear maker.
My boyfriend finally went back into wrestling last year. His first match is coming up soon, I'm looking forward to making some of these for his upcoming birthday (and late valentine's day gift). Your videos have been SO freaking helpful and inspiring, thank you so much.
I’m glad to see another video. It’s great to see from a wrestler how you tend to like things done bc as a designer I try to understand it but since I don’t wrestle it can be challenging
I'm learning too. I do a lot of sketching at this point and working on the construction. Its different then making everyday clothes because its different doing performance based wear. What cutter is that you use?
i was wondering...how do those wrestlers make long tight pants with designs on the thighs or design on there butts logo's.. like seth rollions from wwe pants.. are those pants warm or it just the look? i wonder how do they make boots for wrestlers? elbow pads arm pads etc?
My question is after you get the design how long does it take for you to get a pair of bikers done? (On average of course) that is one thing that has always interested me
Hi, I'm trying to make my own wrestling gear and like the heat press vinyl technique you used in this video. Could you tell me what kind of Heat Transfer Vinyl you use?
What kind of vinyl do you use? I've tried vinyl and it always peels off by the edges. And when I sewed it, it put ugly looking holes in it and still broke away from the stitching.
Great vid! One question though, have you ever been asked to make shorts that have a really wide waistband and appear to have multiple horizontal casings? Like boxing shorts?
D.I.Y. wrestling gear tutorials seem SUPER rare, so it’d be great to see more videos.
We have the same cutter machine.

Thank you. Yeah I feel being a wrestler helps me a lot with creating gear.
Some stuff I’m still trying to understand as I’m still learning.

I’d say do your research on the type of vinyl to use for gear. I use Stahls materials but I’m still learning
Hello I was wondering where I can contact u to place a order

Ok I’m commenting as I go and I never thought to use a pillow to align waistbands and seams that’s genius
Yeah the pillow helps a lot especially if the elastic is smaller then the waist of the gear itself, helps with keeping it consistent
