MAKING DAVE BATISTA'S WRESTLEMANIA 35 COSTUME

- Any Batista fans out there? Did you watch Wrestlemania 35?
We created a custom set of trunks and boots for Dave! He was wonderful to work with and gave us tons of creative freedom. We were so happy to put together something that captured his personality and style.

Want info on the outfit?
-The boots are customized Nike Lebron Soldier 11s. A spare pair was chopped up to extend the hi-tops into full wrestling boots.
-The trunks are spandex and athletic mesh. The guards and decals are gold, red, and black leather.
-Dave chose the boots because he wanted something that was a visual mix of ancient gladiator and futuristic superhero.
-The symbol on the back of the trunks was inspired by Dave’s tribal tattoos and his love of lions. Dave calls his office “The Lion’s Den.”

1:44 I always associated Dave with a Tiger. You know the whole "I walk alone" and badass stuff. Triple H was more of a Lion kind. (With literal mane) and his pride (DX/Evolution/Cliq)

HHH is more of a lion because with his authority figure as well. Lions represents an animal with authority then a tiger
Wow, did such a good job with making his gear! I think it's some of the best looking gear I've seen him wear in a while and definitely wrestlemania worthy. I always find it so fascinating to see how wrestling gear is made!

He had some cool gladiator boots back in 2005 and 2010 I was very disappointed in what he wore during his 2014 return but this gear looks much better now

Wow I just want to say thank you! I’ve been watching Batista kicking before evolution. And seeing him back with his burgundy, classic front name and just overall a big tribute to his entire career all in one attire.
Cameraman did an extraordinary catching all this and edit was sick. Thank you for sharing and I hope we get to see more WWE attires being made, not just the quantity. But the quality which I just all seen here.

He's used to wear boots since his debut. But when he returned back in 2014, he started wearing sneakers like Jordan 28 and LeBrons.
