Me too! Phenomenal night! Any chance you remember which song he said he learned from Doc Watson? He introduced it that way, but I can't remember which song it was!
I'm in NJ and fell a sleep last night. I didn't hear him mention Doc. But he did play "Miss the Mississippi in You" which is a song Doc has covered. He also played "In case you ever change your mind" which is another song Doc has done. Was it either one of them? @dontcallmegus
@dontcallmegus Good version of "Miss the Mississippi in You" on the album Fiddle X by Billy Strings and Don Julin. There is a car horn that honks in that version at the perfect time.
This guy that show that vibe. I was there and id go right back tonight to feel it all again. Thank you Billy Strings and the awesome musicians with you
I was up in the 'nosebleed' seats, toward the very top of the rows at the very back. During the intermission, I walked down to the floor and just walked into the pit. No one checked for a wristband or questioned me at all, and I spent the second set 10 feet from the stage. Third concert I've done this at in the last few months. Amazing what legs can do haha

Yes!! It was Incredible at Last Nights Show!! Outstanding Performances by Every Musician on that stage!! I thought I was a Fan until last night…I knew it would be a good show but it was Truly Transcendental!! Now I am DEFINITELY A FAN FOR LIFE!! WOW…🤯😎🎶🔥✌️
Took my dad last night we had a blast our seats were on the floor row b just behind the pit. As far as the sound I thought it was ok this is the problem with that venue most all of the concerts I have seen there. The sound is never dialed in. Only show that I saw there where the sound was spot on was Roger Waters I believe is the animals tour anyway I’m sure it helped that he used the BOK as a practice warm-up facility before his tour started so they had plenty of time to get the sound dialed in. It was literally one of the best sounding concerts. I’ve ever heard in my life, but regardless, I still had a blast last night the sound was not a big enough issue to bother me one way or the other had way too much fun, dancing and singing along. I’m 50 years old. It was such a blast seeing the young kids dance and get down what are the most diverse crowds I’ve ever seen at any concert.
Amazing performance. However, y’all need to fire your sound crew. There is no justification for how high the treble was. The bass was also way too loud. This completely ruined the concert for me. It’s reminiscent of an imbecile teenager that thinks maxing out his crappy stereo is great. Many people around me seemed to be suffering the same. The light show was very cool. Unfortunately, at times I couldn’t even look at the stage. I was so disappointed with this concert.
So I was up in the 'nosebleed' seats, toward the very top of the rows at the very back, and can attest the sound quality was terrible. However, during the intermission, I went down to the floor and just walked into the pit and spent the second set down there and the sound was phenomenally-better. I would assume the sound guy is/was going off the sound he could hear down on the floor. It seems like indoor venues struggle with this a lot because of the echoes coming off the ceiling and/or walls.
I was there!! Head is still ringing. Hell of a time.
