Heath: ask your doctor about hypertensive encephalopathy. Your symptoms sound exactly like my fathers the first time he encountered this. It is swelling of the brain, pushing it into the skull and effecting sight, balance, speech, and causing pain. It is a result of high blood pressure and will return chronically with flare ups without treatment. Much love to you I hope you get the treatment you need. Love you guys ♥️
My daughter has autoimmune encephalopathy & almost died from it December 2019 it requires spinal tap & mri to diagnose.. we’ve been doing treatments ever since & she’s 100% improved now, but still requires treatment for now. Heaths symptoms remind me a lot of this.. brain on fire is a movie adapted from a great book about a woman who had an autoimmune encephalopathy & how she was dismissed by so many doctors & almost lost her life before one dr figured it out..
This head pain sounds exactly like something that just happened to my friends husband!! He was diagnosed with something called "ice pick headaches" also know as "unalive yourself headaches". Named from it feeling like an ice pick being jabbed into your head. They have driven people to bang their heads against walls to try to stop the pain. They can last for up to 4 days, then go away and stay away for any amount of time - up to 4 years even & then will randomly happen again. Most common in men over 30 apparently, and especially with history of smoking.
Yeah they are called cluster headaches. My mom is diagnosed with them and experiences the same symptoms, she is prescribed sumatriptan injections for when she has one it’s the only thing that gives her any relief. Witnessing them is the only way you can even somewhat grasp how excruciating the pain is.
I definitely thought it sounded like some kind of migraine or something similar! I’ve had migraines with numbness since I was 9 (complex hemiplegic migraines), and the ER had no idea what was going on. If they don’t specialize in it, they don’t know how to diagnose it or even begin to. Just sharing this to say/agree that migraines and headaches can have a variety of symptoms. Seeing a neurologist is totally worth it🙌🏼
The podcasts with the guests are nice but I honestly prefer and love these ones more where you guys are jus hanging out together. You have the wildest stories all the time.

Good idea on having an armed security guard out front though. I'd suggest getting cameras outside and inside your home if you don't already and looking into the cleaning service you all use because these types of thefts are very common. -criminal law student

I think something was in his drink that was inside the room, I've heard of what Heath experienced in Mexico and it seems to happen sometimes when their food or drink is Tampered with or spoiled, etc.
I don't have a doubt in my body that Heath had methanol poisoning. A lot of resorts in Mexico and other countries dilute their alchohol so they can sell it cheaper. Look up the symptoms, its exactly what heath had. he is so incredibly lucky and could have gone blind.
I think home security cameras would go a long way in giving you peace of mind. Blink and ring are both really good options for outside and inside your house. And you can set them to only motion detect and record when you’re not at home or on a trip.
Hearing Heath’s experience made me feel bad for him, any pain in the head region is some of the worst pain ever. I started experiencing migraines with aura, turns out I was at risk for a stroke (at 23 years old) which is rare on certain birth controls. I quit taking birth control completely and now I haven’t experienced a migraine since, shit is WILD
Zane mentioning hes scared of stopping at a red light at night reminded me that in Brazil, in Sao Paulo, robberies are so common that people are allowed to run red lights if its late at night because it isnt safe to wait for it to turn green!! Isnt that wild?
I passed through Newark, New Jersey back when it was very dangerous and two separate police officers told me to not stop during red lights and to get out of the city as fast as I can 😭
So I highly doubt it... BUT, could the cleaners be in on it? Like purposely "forgetting" the door open? I wonder if multiple houses in the area that have had the break ins use the same company? Again, doubtful but just a theory.
Matt is right about what he was saying about getting a Lyft from the airport. Lot of people don't utilize credit card perks they get or plan ahead in general
I wasn't expecting so many interesting and entertaining stories. Matt's story had me like: OMG! 🤩😮 Zane's story had me like: OMG! 😳😱 Heath and Maria's story had me like: OMG! 😑🙄 Heath and Maria's story pt 2 had me like: OMG! 😧😬🤨
Ugh Heath. I’m so sorry. It sound like an allergic reaction from the hotel room. Mildew and mold is a bitch. I also don’t trust alcohol from the bottle on tap. I’ve heard horror stories overseas. Happy you’re okay!
he either had a severe migraine or some sort of poisoning from the alcohol or mildew. the ice pick sensation can be a symptom of pressure headache migraines
Something similar happened to me last year and I got checked and ended up in ICU with too much fluid on my brain. They didn't see it on the CT scan they had to do a Lumber Puncture. They have no idea what caused it but had to have a shunt surgery done. I would really get it checked 🙏
this podcast is what i listen to when i’m doing homework and i love listening to how excited they get about what they’re talking about, it’s great to stay interested while working
I have hemiplegic migraine syndrome and that’s exactly how they feel, including the difficulty seeing/walking/thinking. It took years for doctors to tell me I didn’t just have “really bad headaches!”. Hopefully everything figured itself out!
If Heath continues to have these problems, he should look into Chiari Malformation. The symptoms sound pretty similar and is often missed on MRIs & CTs.
I thought it could be migraines from Covid especially if he felt it in his eyes I know me and a lot of other people experienced that too, but not to that degree. And I know they got tested but rapid tests are not as accurate
@@rosiesaikaly1178 i think he got confused because they mentioned that the only uber available at lax is uber xl and that when they tried it , they had to wait a very long time to get one

It’s crazy to think that you receive a bill when you go to the emergency room 😧 I’m British so I still find it hard to believe that you have to pay. Poor Heath 🥺
Latvian here. Thought the same thing. That's horrible. Especially after waiting for 5 hours to get diagnosed with a headache and get only painkillers. And pay for that? Ridiculous.
Welcome to the US and people even go untreated rather than have to deal with a bill you can’t afford to ruin your credit - to ruin your chances at having anything basically. If I remember correctly Heath doesn’t pay for health insurance (maybe he just doesn’t have dental) but he’s lucky to even be able to pay for it. The whole system is messed up and sad.

I don't have a doubt in my body that Heath had methanol poisoning. A lot of resorts in Mexico and other countries dilute their alchohol so they can sell it cheaper. Look up the symptoms, its exactly what heath had. he is so incredibly lucky and could have gone blind.
So many people have these kind of things happen going there!! I know someone Who got that too!! So scary
Looking back you can really tell how much heath and Zane have been working on there health and I’m so happy for them
Zane and Heaths simultaneous "yeah" at 14:30 is so satisfying lol
With every new episode I love Mariah more and more. She seems like such a great and kind soul.
I think home security cameras would go a long way in giving you peace of mind. Blink and ring are both really good options for outside and inside your house. And you can set them to only motion detect and record when you’re not at home or on a trip.
when Heath said these last two years morphed into one.. felt that
Hearing Heath’s experience made me feel bad for him, any pain in the head region is some of the worst pain ever. I started experiencing migraines with aura, turns out I was at risk for a stroke (at 23 years old) which is rare on certain birth controls. I quit taking birth control completely and now I haven’t experienced a migraine since, shit is WILD
Heath and Mariahs story makes me feel better about my chaotic life. That was such a stressful story to listen to, holy shit, I felt so bad for them!!
All I gotta say is THANK GOD for this episode. It’s saving me my last hour at work. MISSED YALL SO MUCH LAST WEEK.
Zane mentioning hes scared of stopping at a red light at night reminded me that in Brazil, in Sao Paulo, robberies are so common that people are allowed to run red lights if its late at night because it isnt safe to wait for it to turn green!! Isnt that wild?
simm
The same happens In Mexico City!
I passed through Newark, New Jersey back when it was very dangerous and two separate police officers told me to not stop during red lights and to get out of the city as fast as I can 😭
David just posted a vlog SHOWING THE SAME THING! So wild!!
So I highly doubt it... BUT, could the cleaners be in on it? Like purposely "forgetting" the door open? I wonder if multiple houses in the area that have had the break ins use the same company? Again, doubtful but just a theory.
All possibilities should be considered until proven impossible bc that has definitely has happened to people !!
Matt is right about what he was saying about getting a Lyft from the airport. Lot of people don't utilize credit card perks they get or plan ahead in general
I wasn't expecting so many interesting and entertaining stories.
Matt's story had me like: OMG! 🤩😮
Zane's story had me like: OMG! 😳😱
Heath and Maria's story had me like: OMG! 😑🙄
Heath and Maria's story pt 2 had me like: OMG! 😧😬🤨
i was so sad when the podcast didn’t come out last week but this has cured me ❤️🔥 best podcast group ever
I swear!!!
Why did they skip lol
@@emj2383 listen to the pod to find out damn
@@emj2383 they literally disclosed that at the very begging, 45 seconds in lmfao
@@arthurraff who pissed in your coffee?
Matt explaining how he gets priority for an Uber from his fancy credit card😂 sent me into oblivion 😂😂😂😂😂
this podcast is what i listen to when i’m doing homework and i love listening to how excited they get about what they’re talking about, it’s great to stay interested while working
I have hemiplegic migraine syndrome and that’s exactly how they feel, including the difficulty seeing/walking/thinking. It took years for doctors to tell me I didn’t just have “really bad headaches!”. Hopefully everything figured itself out!
I love the way Matt pays attention to Mariah when she speaks. Great episode, feel better Heath!
If Heath continues to have these problems, he should look into Chiari Malformation. The symptoms sound pretty similar and is often missed on MRIs & CTs.
My uncle died from it
i hope one of them sees this comment and this information makes it to heath
Def agree.
I thought it could be migraines from Covid especially if he felt it in his eyes I know me and a lot of other people experienced that too, but not to that degree. And I know they got tested but rapid tests are not as accurate
They're pretty accurate if you're experiencing symptoms already.
I loved this episode so much. Everyone’s stories were so interesting! Hope you’re able to find what’s going on Heath.
Ironically there’s grandpa on heaths sweater at 14:57 😂
This is literally their most engaging, most funny episode. Crying laughing!!!
The last few minutes of Matt & Heath arguing was hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂
lmaooo ik its so funny how matt didnt know they parked, he just assumed they ordered uber black
@@rosiesaikaly1178 i think he got confused because they mentioned that the only uber available at lax is uber xl and that when they tried it , they had to wait a very long time to get one
How does Zane not have ring cameras or simply safe watching his house?
Was thinking this same thing! I was wondering why he didn’t check his ring.
What’s ring cameras
He does now! Haha!! Poor guy!
It could have been a setup from the cleaners, inside job 🤔🤨
didn’t he have security cameras in the previous house?
I think this is my favorite episode I laughed sooo much, i loveeeed the chaotic energy and discussions between your stories. It remind it me when my family and I talk and get so passion it about something. It feels like we are in the room with you guys.
Scotty’s song playing as the ad before this was the mood boost I needed lol
My heart wrenched for Heath, I know his pain was excruciating and to endure so much just so they can say it’s was a headache. I would’ve lost it😭
It’s crazy to think that you receive a bill when you go to the emergency room 😧 I’m British so I still find it hard to believe that you have to pay.
Hey guys I lost my dad today and this is one of the things I can count on to keep my mind off of things, thank you
I am very sorry!! Rest in peace !🙏🏻🙏🏻
I am sorry, love, take care of yourself and may he rest in peace!
So sorry for ur loss , may he rest in peace 💗
I’m sorry for your loss. Sending you lots of love during this time ❤️
this is one of my fav episodes, there are so many interesting stories in this one. love when they tell a story the long version
This is the most chaotic, hilarious episode yet and it’s exactly what my anxiety needed 😂😂😂
This episode had such great energy! Really refreshing hearing the quality of conversation after events. No sus energy between you guys! Loved it! (ads were a lil weird though, cereal? lol, get that bag babbie)
Bro wha? Matt and Heath are fighting at the end that’s sus🤣
@@leopardtree2249 it’s a brother type of fight there fine
Loving the 2 hour podcast!!! Definitely makes up for missing last week
My favourite episode so far! Everybody is so understanding and talking like how they would normally! Love this talk show
At 1:36:56 when Heath makes fun of Mariah’s accent saying “is that a hot dog” IS SO FUNNY AND CUTE
Matt and Heath arguing is something I've been waiting for YEAHHH do more
Same lol it was hilarious 😂
This is my absolute favourite podcast! Can we please get Liza on as the next guest? I just watched an old video with Zane and Heath and Liza doing a dance battle and it’s hilarious!
I love their dynamic with Liza. This little group + her is my fav I remeber there vids
@@kait7404 I know right?! They are so funny together!
Not gonna lie I’m a little traumatized from this episode I hope you guys are safe! 🥺
