A way I like to think of it is: You can't do anything about your consistency (aim wise), you just have play smart instead of relying on your aim and other abilities.
There is no such thing as "consistent" aim. The fact is everyone is human and there are many factors that can affect your aim outside of your own control so consistent aim isn't actually an achievable goal.
@@another7674 aim is kinda pointless once you learn prefire spots. if you know where to look before the enemy sees you, you will win the fight.

You should really stream yourself playing a match (MM, ESEA, Faceit, etc) and explaining why you did every action that you do, and the potential outcomes, etc. There's a likely quite a bit of people that watch these videos, but don't have examples to go by. If you explain it in (somewhat) real time with real-time scenarios while you are in-game, it'll help a lot of players better understand what all of these things are. (Referring to previous "What is: ..." videos)
***** How would it be annoying? I've seen streamers do it before (granted they were LE/LEMS+, nothing special). Steel's already made tons of videos already, don't see how it would get annoying all of a sudden lol.

Great video, as usual. When I was around MG2-MG1, this is exactly how I felt. It's like nothing was working, when in dm, I'd (relatively, still MG1) destroy people.
Watched a few demos of mine and realized my engagements are shit, I'm basically like ShaZam in C9.

I used to bitch a lot about consistency since I relied a lot on my aim (some days I would make 180° tap headshots like a god and sometimes I couldn't kill an afk guy), what really helped with my consistency was:
1) Playing smarter: I used to peek at everything and just rely on my reflexes to find and kill the enemy, having 0 gamesense, hell, using 0 common sense at all
2) Lowering my sensitivity: This is still an fps, and you still need a decent aim to execute your strats, I used to play with a relatively high sens (around f0rest's type of sens), but then I lowered it to around 900 true sensitivity (that's 400 dpi, 2.5 sens in-game) and while I didn't notice a massive improvement on my aim, I was able to consistently aim at the target correctly without overshooting or anything
3) Learn how to properly spray: Tip number 2 helped me with this, with a higher sensitivity it's so much harder to control the recoil, but once you lower it you're able to more consistently make nice sprays with the AK at longer distances at times (up to medium distances it is fine to spray), you should NOT rely on tap headshots because that will get you killed if some day your senses and aim aren't as sharp, however you still should be aiming at the head

Well yea this video is partly right- but the main problem is LITERALLY consistency rather than the battles I'm taking. One day I could play aim_botz and spend a few seconds killing an enemy and other days I could just immediately flicking then shooting.

Usually people play DM and aim maps to attempt to get their aim skill to the highest possible point they're able to. It won't define the way you play 5v5. The only way to get better at most aspects of the game is to play 5v5.

Everybody is talking about consistency in MM/Pugs, but what I do when my aim is not consistent even in DM? I can go +60-80 in DM for 4-5 days and then go negative or equal for 10 days or so. And yes, I am playing versus pretty much same enemies.
Dont play Valve DM, play DM's that go for an hour.
I was talking about FFA DM, DM on 128 tick.

Ok so on dust II or Mirage it's kinda easy to know what to do but on maps like canals especially on a site as a T, is it just creativity that sets the bouderys in a situation like that?

Crack an egg white on your face and let it dry, it freezes the muscles of your face which keeps you calm. It sounds like mumbo jumbo, but it was a miraculous breakthrough for me.

I have a question about the CT cross smoke at 4:00, if one of the enemies were aloud to save an AWP or any kind of rifle on the previous round and you do not know where they are playing, do you still smoke it?
It really depends and its up to you, there's a lot of things that can change it
I would personally always smoke it because it is a very versatile smoke. It can allow cross from CT or Cat so its almost a guaranteed entrance to A site. If you just have someone get on the ledge near A long sidewalk and kill the guy waiting near cat box its literally free site because it is a 1 way for the A long guy.
I hope many people will watch this video, because I hate it when people play Dust and they dont understand why its important to hold long and im a long player. like I hate it when my team mate blames me for losing a bomb site while im holding long like wtf, I cant just leave long and help you out because he is going to flank me, id rather hold Long and give a site and wait for rotation and sandwich them.
3:15 False :). You still wanna smoke it even if the enemy is eco. What you said is that if they smoke that and you are eco (ct side) you should just go up close and get some picks but almowst everytime there will be someone in short looking for you. So if i smoke that cross as a terrorist you have to stay in ct and if i dont smoke it i have to take an unnecesary risk of dying. Even if i kill the ct he has done enough. He prevented the take of the site by a couple of seconds and gave time for his friends to rotate and also probably did some dmg to you while you were fighting with him. You will have a higher chance of winning by smoking that and planting the bomb because that way he is forced to fight you. So considering you and your enemy are the same skill level you should smoke that everytime.
+MujikMunkey I disagree. By allowing them to take the fight to you you allow pistol players to choose a short distance fight right up at the site. I have no idea why anyone would want that and I agree with Josh's line of thinking. If you're scared about losing short control boost someone short? You say lacking the smoke creates an unnecessary risk of dying yet it doesn't, quite the opposite. Having the smoke there is taking an unnecessary risk.

+Jellson21 Consistency = taking the wrong engagements. Day 1 you hit your shots, enemy doesnt. Day 2, enemy his their shots. You make the same play, but day 1 you go unpunished, day 2 you get punished. Nothing to do with you hitting your shot or not, it's your positioning.

FYI i have a theory that most of FPS nowadays suck because people are too lazy to actually get good at it so they bitch to the DEV's (in this case Valve) to basically dumb down the game so that they can just pick it up and play and be good at it. Therefore running and gunning is a thing now as well as crouch spamming and shit.
