Hi Marian!! That sounds amazing- Maldives is one of the most beautiful places in the world with SO many beautiful hotels :). Let us know if you have any questions!
Hi Robin! thanks for your comment!! There are honestly so many amazing hotels in the maldives, but yes, i think we still put Milaidhoo at the top of the list. It's just...spectacular. The service, the butler, everything was truly mindblowing. If you are looking for some recommendations, let me know!
Hi Aamal! Thanks for your message. Typically, floating breakfast and private dinners are not included in any meal packages. However, I would highly recommend a private beach dinner. I don't personally love floating breakfasts as it is very hard to eat the food while you're in the pool, lol, but it is fun (just order cold food :)).
I like your review style. Well-structured and very specific with many take aways for us who are actually considering the particular hotel/resort/place.
Thank you so much, Jesper! We really appreciate the feedback! I’m glad you find it helpful and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions :) - maren
Hey Lulu! Thanks for reaching out! We don't have any discount codes, unfortunately, but I did see a 10% off for "members" offered on their website! I believe member just means a loyalty member so definitely recommend checking that out! Swimming there is great- there is some amazing snorkeling on the reef just off the hotel! The beaches are stunning, with calm water and crystal teal water. I hope this helps!
Have you guys been to Gili Lankanfushi and Soneva Jani yet and if so,what are your opinions on those resorts? I am really intrigued to hear about those as it’s said that those 2 are the top of the tops resorts in the Maldives
Hi Rhea, Thank you for your comment! We have not been to Gili or Jani, but I have some thoughts. Gili is actually located literally next to Paradise Island. It's a property that was originally built by Soneva. They have not agreed to have us there yet ;). From what some of our subscribers have said, it is a very tired property and it's also not in a good location. It's VERY close to Male and also next to the fish factory. Soneva Jani is supposed to be fantastic. Fushi was wonderful and rustic and very very cool and Jani is supposed to be even more so. Do know that Soneva is not for someone looking for the most modern amenities or experience, it's much more rustic. I hope this helps! I would argue that "best hotels in the maldives" is probably a much longer and growing list nowadays. I think that used to be true, but there are some heavy hitters there now like Milaidhoo and others that have matched or surpassed the OG hotels.
Thank you so much, Lauren! That's so nice of you to say. That's a great question- it will REALLY depend on your needs and budget. Every hotel has a totally different vibe. If you liked the style of Milaidhoo, it's still our absolute favorite hotel in the Maldives ;). If you're looking for some options and aren't comfortable sending your budget/needs here on YT send us an email at team@voyagerguru.com and I'm happy to recommend some that work for you!
Great review. Personally I’m not a fan of the room tho it’s not as high end considering the price. Personally I made a list of things I want in a resort and I decided which one I want to go to based on the number of things it ticked off on my list: Nice rooms, transparent kayaks, white bikes, underwater restaurant, lagoon quality
Thanks for your comment! It may not have come through on the video, but every piece of furniture is handmade and it was incredibly beautiful. Honestly, it felt like no one had ever stayed in the room before us and omg the view 😍. This property didn’t have bikes because there’s only 30 rooms or so and the island is teeny tiny. We’ve stayed at 6 hotels so far in the Maldives and nothing quite compared to this experience. Have you found a property that matches your needs?i think Cocoon has most of your list - not sure about their bike color though
Hello! Thanks for such a thorough review :). I’m debating between Fairmont Maldives and Milaidhoo for my honeymoon and was wondering if you think that the rather higher price for Milaidhoo justifies the experience as opposed to the other resorts you’ve been to (or what you’ve heard about Fairmont Maldives if you have)? Thanks in advance!!
Hi Christine! Thanks for your comment. I’ve heard the Fairmont is very nice. I will say depending on how much more Milaidhoo is, you’re getting a very different experience. It’s truly the most mindblowing service experience have had to date. With only 30ish rooms, the personal service is unreal, as is the champagne breakfast. Having a butler wake us up around sunrise with a pot of coffee as a wake up call was just one example of anticipatory and proactive service that went above and beyond. We can’t say enough about this property. Feel free to let us know some more details on room rates and such if you need some deeper help with a comparison :) happy to help!
@@VoyagerGuru Thanks so much!! That sounds absolutely divine! I would love to hear your thoughts on our rates and offers between the two resorts :) I’ve sent you an email!!
Hello! most of the activities are ocean based (i.e snorkeling, diving, sunset sailings) and non-motorized (paddle boarding etc). You won't find jetskis and those kinds of activities here. They also have a great spa and a wonderful gym! let me know any other questions you have!
Hi there! Milaidhoo is truly a gem. Based on recent traveler feedback, it appears to be the same quality level as when we were there. There are many incredible resorts in the Maldives- it’s important to consider what you specifically want out of a vacation- for example, if you’re looking for a party, this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for exclusivity, privacy, romance- this is 100% it
Great review thank you. I’m planning to visit the Maldives soon 👍🏽

Great review! Millaidhoo is definitely one of the best resorts for couples in Maldives.
Still one of our favorites! We'll be covering many more in next few months, so stay tuned!
It is hard to imagine that this is real ! Great info!
+Diana Reardon thanks so much! Yes, it really is hard to believe :) Milaidhoo has created a truly amazing property!
Would this be the best Maldives resort you've tried so far? Great review as always!

Hello, thank you for such a detailed review. Do you have to book floating breakfast and dinner on the beach or is that included in full board?

Young looking in this one!
Haha one of our earliest videos! But still a favorite hotel! Actually, it’s still the only 5 star rating overall we’ve ever given!
Amazing! Also love your cover-up! Where's it from?
heheeh thank you!!! it's from an amazing brand called Island Tribe!! I love them!

We are thinking of staying here. Do you have any discount codes you could offer? Also, how is it to swim around there?

I've seen several of your videos so far -- super helpful!! Which would you recommend for a 6 night honeymoon?
