No idea what Haley is talking about in terms of Nebraska politicing for #1. I read EVERYTHING out of Nebraska and not heard anybody claiming or wanting to be #1. Husker fans are smart enough to know it makes no difference between 1 and 2.
Not sure what you’re listening to, but I see nonstop complaints from Nebraska fans losing their minds being #2, saying “the coaches/committee hate Nebraska” and it’s a conspiracy. Personally, I see valid arguments for either Pitt or Nebraska. But as you say, it really doesn’t matter.

No Mick, we Nebraska fans are perfectly happy at #2. Pittsburgh is very deserving of that #1 spot. Both lost to SMU, Pittsburgh did not get swept.
