I got the chance to see Riley Whitesides of South Carolina play last week. What a remarkable talent. My thoughts while watching her were that she's going to be a great pro. Imagine her surrounded by other elite players.

TX plays so much fewer matches than everyone else. RPI isn't a performance measurement, it is an exposure measurement, you get rewarded for who you play not how you play. The downfall for teams in RPI isn't losing a match, its playing teams that lose a lot of matches. If you don't play a lot of matches, you're at a lower risk of teams losing hurting your RPI. KPI is the worst corrupt system there is. You can't give a reason why one team gets rated one way yet another team gets a completely different way vs the same team, or even using the same parameters like home and away, ranking, etc. UNL in the KPI is given the exact relative score for their sweep Wisc at Wisc as they are for the sweep at Lincoln, yet every other score you look at, being away is awarded several hundred points more than being at home.
No team who loses 25% of their matches should be selected to host a tournament match this year. Everyone needs to make up their minds on do they want the sport to grow or do they only want the sport to grow if it retains the same team's dominance? You can't be for fewer matches and for the growth of the sport. You can't be for better season matchups and be for fewer matches played.

2023 Simi-Finals Neb 3 Pitt 0; I do not see Pitt winning a set off of Nebraska this year either.
