I have been a movie lover for 60 years, and I must say, this movie has rocked my world. What a revelation to see that some actors and directors really take their craft seriously. Timothee demonstrated such a huge range of emotion, far beyond his years, in this movie. Joel was great as Falstaff, he BECAME Falstaff. Please continue to pursue roles that are part of an art, not box office stuff. That will prevail. I can't remember how many times I have watched this film, Kudos to all! It strikes such a note of excellence!! Bravo!!

This movie is brilliantly made!!! It’s a masterpiece!!! The dialogue, cinematography and the somber, dark feel throughout the film without it being cheesy is just amazing!!! This is REAL Hollywood talent! Thank you for making such an amazing film!!!
Everyone's talking about Timmy, but such wiiissee, down to earth things Joel had to say about Timmy, the movie, and just LIFE in general! And he gave such an abundance of elegant praise and honor to Tim and to the younger generations. Such a great man... I would love to have a conversation with him one day.
I've watched The King probably at least 50 times. It's not only the story and amazing acting, but the cinematography looks like actual moving works of art. The chiaroscuro lighting is sublime.
This is one of my favorite movies. Timothee is a very talented actor. The speech before the battle made me want to fight France myself!!! The music is beautiful. The plot is good. I did not see the twist coming. I was in shock. Good job everyone!
the comradery between them is so authentic & fun, they're awesome together. Loved the film, seen it a few times now & felt compelled to share it with friends and family x
Great that both Joel & Timothee refer to previous cinema versions of the Hal-Falstaff story & this meshing with the idea of younger audiences being drawn to a period story. For instance, I got chills when I saw Director Michod copy almost exactly a shot from the brilliant Danish director Carl Dreyer’s “Joan of Arc”. It was a wonderful tribute and a way of linking past & present, not just in the times of the story but in the telling of it.

Thank you for so eloquently defending identity and youth in the modern era timmy - old folks have been yammering about the "good old days" since time immemorial, and it doesn't mean the past was necessarily superior. Each time period has its own mix of good and bad, and opportunities and moraes differ so wildly it may be impossible to compare them. B. His comment went RIGHT over the interviewer's head. -_-
the king I must admit that I only saw him because Sean Harris was in the cast but it was a very pleasant surprise the film I really liked I felt various sensations especially for the extraordinary change of Hall then Sean Harris very good in the part of William a good puppeteer what to say I would have liked to see a series

Did you ask permission from Bruce and Denise Morcombe?? Joel, you have twins how would you feel??? Why??? Children change everything doesn't it???
