Thank you Shout! Factory for making the WKRP in Cincinnati episodes available to the viewing public again! This is one of the greatest comedy shows of all time. So sad it lasted only 4 years. So sad it did not stay in re-run syndication on TV because the owners of the music rights asked too much for compensation to play the songs on TV. But you brought it back and made it available on DVD. Thank you so much for saving this show for history and for us to enjoy!

Haven't thought about it in many years but has a special memory of a woman I met out West when things were clicking for us - until she suddenly announced that she had to move back to Cincinnati to take over her just departed grandfathers real estate business. That was back in 2004 and I still think of her to this day! So just had to hear this song again with the original WKRP intro and man did that take ever me back! Reminds me of St. Louis a bit, too. Similar size cities (well, at least St. Louis used to be before it lost 2/3 its population within the city limits). Now St. Louisans say St. Louis is alive and well and living in Kansas City! :) St. Louis is still a proud old city--it just has so many problems and a government which is clueless and has had its hands tied since separating from St. Louis County dating back to 1876. Then St. Louis didn't need St. Louis County. But since St. Louis' heyday was around 1900, and it has been struggling since, it really can't live without St. Louis County, its land, its people, and its money.

Omigosh.... I used to love this song and watched this show. I was 8 in 1978. I’m now 50. There were so many theme songs that I loved. Some of my favorites were Good Times, One day at a time, Differnt Strokes, Bosom Buddies, The Greatest American Hero, Family Ties, Gimme a break(Slower version latter seasons) The Jefferson’s, Dukes of Hazzard, Alice, Golden Girl’s to name a few (gazillion)😬😂 Times were so much simpler back then. We didn’t have social media and reality tv. Some people are clout chasers and aren’t embarrassed to be viewed in a negative light. They feel any publicity helps increase their social media followers. Some of the people who’re making millions from being author’s, motivational speakers, therapists etc... aren’t leading by example. They’re selling fairy tales yet living a lie themselves. I need a time machine.🤷🏾‍♀️
