But I feel so bad for Sav that she doesn’t have any control over her own wedding, she’s already being forced into the engagement and now she doesn’t even have any control over it like I’m pretty sure Mrs Dawson should at least run it by Tom and Sav before confirming certain things. I’m so excited for the next episode, this series is addicting!🩷

I KNEW Briac was a fruity tooty boy even before it was confirmed. He just had that kind of energy. Also, I felt really bad for Brooke. It's hard for someone to come out, friend or not. This was an a amazing episode!

Main points written or stated in chat before, full rambles written after. * Again, Alicia shouldn'tve posted that video if she didn't want any issues with those two. * Tom's mom is so pushy, good lord. * Savannah SHOULD NOT be going through this. However, seeing as she refuses to communicate with absolutely anything with anyone, I don't really think she has anyone to blame but herself. I do want Savannah to NOT be in a relationship with Tom, because leading him on and MARRYING him will do neither of them any favors, but the fact that she does not ever communicate a thing and just goes along with everything sort of leads her into this position. Again, like last episode, if she told Tom ANYTHING she was feeling, he would understand and accept that. The problem isn't Tom, it just appears to be everyone AROUND him and Sav, to some degree INCLUDING Sav as well. His mom sucks, his dad is famous and appears to be absent, Sav's parents are just going along with this because Tom is famous, and Savannah can't turn to Alicia because Alicia broke Tom's trust and hurt Sav in the process, and the only person who's really trying to be helpful here, Genny, isn't really able to get through to Savannah because of how much pressure is put on by everyone else. * Of course Brooke wouldn't confess to Savannah again. If you liked someone, told them, and they completely exposed you to the entire school just to humiliate you after MANIPULATING YOU into thinking everything would be alright, yeah, I don't think Brooke would get over that even if it had been a few years. I want Brooke and Savannah together too, but I think the same lack of honest communication between them is similar to that of Tom and Savannah. Savannah has some communicating for herself she needs to do before either of them would be a good option, even if she TRULY LIKED Tom, which isn't accurate either. I get why all of y'all would want her to confess now and run away with Savannah or whatever, but that would not fix like... anything? There's still communication issues between Brooke and Savannah that wouldn't be fixed by a confession and her being whisked away. * Called it. I've been saying for a while that Briac and Brooke were not dating at all and instead just great friends, so it's at least good to have that cleared up. All in all, amazing episode! I really hope Savannah and Tom don't make it to the wedding, and instead things end beforehand, seeing as it would be a little frustrating having this emotional and romantic conflict between Brooke and Savvy that they've had going on since being TEENAGERS continue on far into their adult lives. An understandable conflict, but I have my hopes that we see something good between them sometime during season 3, especially if there's a timeskip again like the start of this season.

You're absolutely spot-on with the character analysis, and it IS all Savannah's fault. She knows it too, but she has no courage to course-correct. as someone who didn’t watch lps popular until now (im in college lol), i watched this a couple of months after finishing the original series and now im so invested it’s crazy, i always wondered if savvy and brooke would ever be more than friends LMAO
I had a feeling that briac gay, I called it. But anyways, on to the episode. Savvy's voice is so mellow and sad, obviously we know why but idk how Tom and her parents haven't picked up on it. I love the added character with Tom's mom. She seems like so much to deal with. Onto allicia and Brook though, I found the scene very beautiful. How Brooke slowly told the story of her and briac becoming friends and how acceptance from a stranger turned into such a strong friendship. It's absolutely beautiful. However, while I believe that people need to know this, (especially savvy) a part of me. Still wishes Alicia didn't snitch. But Alicia is a snitch and she always will be and that is a character flaw that works against and for the plot, I don't think she'll ever get character development for it and that's okay. Now I feel bad for Brooke here, But the last time she talked to Savannah, she acted like a bish. But IIrc, she never apologized either. In fact, for most of the season we haven't seen them interact except for the first four episodes and now it's episode 8. I wish they had more communication and moments with them instead of just painfully obvious lingering feelings. Overall it was a beautifully aesthetically designed and written episode and I am hyped for the next one. Alicia has to do what she's always done and spell some secrets. And Brooke? You have a wedding to crash! Edit: Awesome episode is always fever, When will the next one be out?

I think if they do appear again it's probably going to be a passing reference, like a Furbook post or something. They wouldn't serve the plot at the moment so unless season 3 includes some sort of callback to highschool I kind of doubt there will be a good reason for their characters imo.
I feel bad for Brook. I didin't know what was going on it must to be awful. Everyone will probably hate me but i hope Alisia will tell Genny and Lina about it because then they can help her. I hope there will be a conversation between Genny and Savvy because maybe this conversation will help Savvy decide if it's definitely good idea to get married.
