- Did you know 70% of the world's maple syrup (92% of Canadian output) comes from Quebec and sells for $2000 a barrel? This is a look at the history, chemistry and production of this glorious "liquid gold" and the iconic Sugar Shacks (Cabane à sucre) that have become a staple of Québécois culture, luring people from around the world who crave a taste of the freshest maple syrup on Earth.

Some of my coziest memories come from visiting a Cabane a Sucre. Maple toffee is the best.
I love to eat maple syrup along with pancakes and waffles. Watching this video is so tasty and inspires me to visit Montreal and even have breakfast there. I love to have a taste of Quebec.
Every household in Québec has a bottle of maple syrup in their pantry.....it's so delicious.....there is nothing like it ❤ 😋
