  • ROMulus is an Amiga flash ROM board programmable from the Amiga itself. This video demonstrates how you would typically install and use ROMulus.
The board is available on Tindie and my Retro Supplies site: www.retrosupplies.co.uk/amiga...
The test motherboard is an Amiga 500 revision 6 motherboard with a RAMesses Chip RAM upgrade and an RGBtoHDMI board used for video capture.
Apologies for the audio, I had capture using a phone and a Blue Yeti but the Blue Yeti audio was corrupted.
Correction: I mention in the video that the booting delays were due to a RAM check, they are actually due to an IDE check.

Thanks! Kicking myself that I didn't realise the main microphone wasn't recording correctly until after I had recorded though 🙂

Would this for on an A500 Rev 5 w/ DiagROM? This ROM req a mod to work on Rev 5.

All EPROMs need a modification (or adapter) for rev 3 and 5. If you load DiagROM into ROMulus, it will "just work".

Is there anything like this for an A4000? :)

I don't think so, I've considered making a Zorro based version before. Maybe I should.

@@linuxjedivideo Would be nice, I hate ripping out the kickstart chips all the time switching to Diagrom or upgrading kickstart
