Awesome, thanks for this. I had been going back and forth about launching a Shopify store. I have about 50 items between 2 Etsy shops, with a couple making daily sales. Launching a Shopify store for those top products is my next step.
Just found your channel and LOVE YOU!!! I mean that innocently lol just that I appreciate your content and sharing to help the rest of us! New subbie and binge watching
You are so inspiring. I have binge watched all of your videos trying to grow my Etsy and Shopify. It’s so hard and defeating at times but you give me hope!!!!
This video was extremely helpful! Thank you so much for taking the time to educate us. Also, if you want to do another ‘design with me’ video where you take a step-by-step through everything but with another successful niche, even showing us how you get them to sign up for email, that would be great!
Greetings from Australia! Thank you so very much for sharing your experience and knowledge here ... My daughters and I are starting our own business and I want you to know the impact this channel has had on my family. THANK YOU 💕😊
What do you do in Etsy to get those customers to sign up for your email list? Do you add a link to your signup landing page as you send them a 'thank you for purchasing' message? I have an Etsy (at a turtle pace currently :| ) and a website, and do have an email signup page. What have you found that works best for capturing Etsy customers?
Yes! I add the link after they purchase, in the listing descriptions, in my shop banner or in the banner announcements so it has high visibility that people will sign up for my email to get their discounts. I've found that having them in these 4 places increases likelihood of signups, hopefully this helps! :)
Sincerely love all of your videos - you've inspired me over the last couple months to put my energy back into Etsy. Appreciate your content so much. I hope you and your love enjoy your vacation!!! ❤️
Aww, thank you so much! :) Comments like these are the reason I do TH-cam now and thank you for following along and hopefully my future videos can help some more here!
Absolutely love all your videos. You are so informative and have a great spirit. As a SAHM I've been wracking my brain on how to make some passive income to support my family. Your videos have been so inspiring and helpful. Thank you!!!
I’ve tried to open my store after watching your channel … FINALLY… but I can’t get past the “Set Up Billing” can’t get a hold of support…ugh it’s very frustrating
Do you have any suggestions for tiktok video structure for a print on demand store? I haven't niched down yet, but might be getting closer. I'm kind of stuck between two, so, do I just create two full separate stores? Or for now should I just keep them all under one Etsy? :) Lots of questions. I find a lot of value in your videos and thank you for making them. I'm not sure how do grow on social media regarding a store so if you have any more videos explaining or just samples of what it might look like, please direct me to them. Thanks
Thanks for the video - it is right you have to pay pod sites first and then wait for Etsy to pay you? So if you sold £1,000 in a week you have to pay that out before getting paid from Etsy?
Hi Heather! 🙂 I have a question, for selling tshirts and sweatshirts do you put them in the same listing? And if you do, how much do you charge for shipping? Because for shirts it costs $4 for shipping and sweatshirts costs $8. And in Etsy you can only have 1 shipping profile.
For the shipping reasons I always separate my product types such as t-shirts and sweatshirts. If I were to put them together I'd charge $5 but to avoid this stress I separate my listings. Hopefully this helps! :)
I have been considering using social media for my POD shop but I have trouble coming up with ideas for a shirt I don't actually touch. Any ideas or advise?
I'd say it's a good place to start! It does cost a bit more and there's a learning curve to it but I've seen people be successful with beginning there. I only suggest Etsy as it's free organic traffic with little stress over finding ads and paying more money in the beginning. There's ways of free organic traffic and I plan on making videos in the future on this as well. :)
I will message the person and offer a return/exchange. I usually mention that this is my small business and every review matters so if they are able to remove their review it would help a lot. However, most of the time I will offer the refund first in exchange for them to remove the review. Generally, people make bad reviews in hopes of a refund. It stinks to lose money, but those first reviews are crucial and can really hurt a store especially in the algorithm.
I have found multiple niches in one store to be successful but if I were to start over I would have just focused on one niche for everything so I could grow social media accounts: I still think it’s good to do multiple niches in one store for market research when beginning to see what sells best but I’ve found social media is very niched down now that it’s best practice to focus on one. :)

Hey love, is this theory or have you moved to a shopify store?
When you move your top selling products to your own website, do you keep them on Etsy as well?
What is the name of your Etsy shop
Yea link to your esty shop

I have 4 shipping profiles on my etsy shop! The section called 'Delivery profiles'
@@itsheatherstudio yes!! This is so helpful thank you 😊

Placeit is one of the best places to go for this! They provides mockups and videos. I'm not sponsored by them but I use them a lot haha!!
Link to your Etsy shop??
Hi Heather!, Im wondering if just starting with Shopify to begin with would be a good idea?
I'd say it's a good place to start! It does cost a bit more and there's a learning curve to it but I've seen people be successful with beginning there. How do you deal with bad reviews? I got my first bad review and it was so discouraging because it felt out of my control.

However, most of the time I will offer the refund first in exchange for them to remove the review. Generally, people make bad reviews in hopes of a refund. I thought you said in a past video that you found multiple niches in one shop to be successful?

You are saying " I would" do dthis or that . Have you actuall done these hing sand that is what you rae saying?
Is it a bad idea to wait until you make over $600 to start your business bank accounts to make sure you’ll actually be profitable? 😅
