@@luizclaudiostarling461 Not copying bro ,it's inspiration and if blender did this than it is good for all coz it is not a profit earning company rather an open source software.
Btw they are not copying any code from houdini(coz it is proprietary software),they are making their own.

One thing that I adore about Houdini, is that the community consists of genuine and amazing people; Unlike a certain other program which only has annoying fanboys.

Now that's a generalization and a half... imagine claiming that someone's preference in software is an indicator of whether they're a good person or not

@@shreyansjain5844 Never, ever spam the name of program when nobody cares about it. Never Compare it to other programs while you haven't tried them, and never assume you've become a God in 3D design just cause you have toyed around with a few of them tools. Even the best thing becomes cancerous when it's shoved down everyone's throat.
The issue is, Blender is to powerful to be available for free to everyone. So many people get the illusion that they are such great designers, without actually trying that hard; Cause in reality, it's the software that is doing a lot of the work for them. And when you succeed without proper input, it's the beginning of toxicity.
You've played video games, right? 99% of the time, toxicity in video games is because dumbass players can pick an OP item and just dominate the game without actually trying. You follow this formula anywhere, and you're guaranteed to have a toxic community.
Something like Houdini however, is not only difficult to learn, but also not available for free. Which means if someone wants to invest money in it, will obligate him/herself to actually learn 3D design fundamentals before blowing at least 250 bucks a year. And a person who earned their knowledge, usually doesn't become toxic.
My apologies, I didn't want this to be this long, but I also didn't want any confusion or misunderstanding.

@@omidr.g7409 I don't agree. A bunch of people who had to work really hard to become good in their craft become bitter, sometimes arrogant and so: toxic. Houdini is hard to learn, but it's not a positive trait. It's like linux was in the early times. It's was hard to use and many Linux user became toxic. "Software is doing a lot for them" - so what about the other softwares for example C4D? It's not free, but it's waay easier to learn than Houdini. So C4D users are scumbags because they "pay to win" or what? Okay, I get it that many people getting started in Blender are fanboys. But it's hard to not to become a fanboy, because for many use cases Blender is excellent and easy to learn! People who are just "toying with a few tools" won't succeed as a professional. Blender fanboys spamming the coment section? And what? Go to any sports forum or art forum. Casuals will write the majority of the comments. Professionals either don't care or encourage them or give constructive criticism (or they are toxic and hate casuals and amateurs). I would choose Blender over other programs if I want just to model (and export to other softwares just like you would export from Zbrush for sculpting) and it's excellent for many other purposes as well.
And don't forget that designing and doing 3D work is two different skill. I don't have be very professional in 3D softwares if I am a good designer and what I do looks good and works well.
Again, I understand that Blender comes up in comment sections very often and sometimes it gets annoying. A larger community means more stupid people but proportionally every community is very similar. And no, hard to use and paid software doesn't make the community smarter or less toxic.

@@ajtatosmano2 You're right, I never said that will guarantee a healthy community. But letting everyone in without any sort of qualification, will 100% result in toxicity. And yes, a lot of people don't care about it, but I love to engage with people in the communities that I am a part of, which in case of Blender, I can't cause a lot of them are nothing but cancer cells.
