HAMARU MULK HUMARI PEHCHAN Mahar regiment originally comprised of Ppl from Mahar community of Maharashtra bur now a days there r a few ppl from other states taken in.
Mahar regiment is from Maharashtra..Recruiting composition 75% Mahar community from Maharashtra..and 25% all over from India..
Nowadays every regiment is mixed regiment..Recruits from all over india can be commissioned into any regiment.
MAHAR regiment doesnt belong to madhya pradesh.its Regimental center is in sougar(madhya pradesh)..

Why are you showing clips from the Assam Rifles when you were talking about the Assam Regiment. The two are different units altogether, The Assam Regiment is a Line Infantry of the Indian Army, while Assam Rifles is a paramilitary force under the Home Ministry.

You have shown images and videos related to 'The Assam Rifles', staring from 05:30 till 06:16 in this video. Though you have shown the video of 'Balduram ka Badan' from the Assam Regimental Centre, the rest other parts of the video, wrongly describe 'The Assam Regiment'. As many defense aspirants follow your channel, I want you to rectify the oversight.
Being a son of a soldier of 'The Assam Regiment', I can vouch that 'The Assam Regiment' is totally different from 'The Assam Rifles.' The former is a regular regiment of the Indian Army, while the latter is the oldest paramilitary force of our country.

The British formed these regiments based on caste, community and religion with ultimate aim to divide them on these basis without uniting them on common ground . Surprisingly, Indian government is also following the same style which may on later stage will backfire. This was also witnessed at the time of Bindrenwalle, the Punjab terrorist period. The government should wake up to the situation and change the names of regiments slowly and steadily and ultimately shuffle them to form different regiment.
