I am blessed to be born in the town of the boys of 13th kumaon C company, Rewari Haryana, the all ahir company was from the surrounding villages of Rewari, we have Rezang la war memorial in our city along with a museum, names of all the martyrs are etched on the memorial.

I would request Major Arya to immediately write the exact script of the complete battle ( from orders to March to Rezang la to inquiry by the Brigadier threatening court martial and recovery of the commanders body) and under guidance of both these brave hearts make a film " REZANG LA " for the Indian Public. If possible exact site can be used for the film. Tomorrow these bravemhearts may not be there to narrate us the exact battle.
The way sir has narrated rizangla battle gave me goosebumps....I feel very proud ...Jai hind and salute to all martyrs

The level of dedicated shown by Indian troops is commendable.....PVC major Shaitan Singh is an prime example of service before self.... He was hit by multiple bullets causing multiple injuries and his intestine was split open ,he was about to die but still he continued commding his company . 124 men of our Indian army fought against a full brigade of 3000 troops supported by Artillery . Still they managed to neutralise their attack for about 6 hours and killed 1300 Chinese troops.

I always address you as just Gaurav as a 75 year old army buff. I was inspired by my late father who was Major in British Eight Army in El Alamein, in Middle-east, North Africa and Greece in WW 2. He survived the war. Our men fought in 1962 and in 1962 valiantly for a lost cause due political blunder. I read Brig Dalvi's book and BM Kaul's. I was young and a teenager in 1962 and followed all battles intensely. Rezangala battle is unforgettable battle. The Chinese strategy then used be human wave tactics and I still believe they will follow that even now. If we deploy a battalion they will counter by few brigades. In such situation we can now use higher fire power and air force to face the enemy. In 1962 our troops were so poorly prepared and they were forbidden to fire .303 for the fear of retaliation.our soldiers really sacrificed themselves in real army tradition. The political leadership had no idea of battle and the army. Imagine our army had to march seven days with food, water and ammunition to reach their battle stations whereas The Chinese troops used to be dropped in trucks and had to walk 40 min to face Indian soldiers.
Both of these heroes defied such great odds,namely 126 against 3000 to tell us their stories.Their faith in god helped them survive,Jai Hind,Jai shree Ram

What valour. Gaurav this first hand information from this valorous soldiers really moved my heart. May the martyred souls f men who laid down their lives inspire every Indian. A civilian can not imagine how they single mindedly fought the enemy.
