Yes, we did get 5-8 inches of heavy wet snow. Dang. wish we would see the last of it. It wasn't a nice April Fools joke this morning. I do enjoy your videos. And that baby is precious. Lucky husband and wife - parents of that beautiful boy.
I’ve noticed you do a really good job of editing your videos. They flow well. You don’t have a lot of “lost” footage, meaning I don’t feel as if I’m wasting my time by watching them. There’s always a good mix of interaction with family and ranching. I enjoy watching the whole family, you all just seem like good people. God bless you all!
"I only want the black one" ha ha ha! Ive heard that from my hubby as we are standing in pen full of mostly black angus and he shouts that at me. Uhmmm, WHICH black one? Lol! Yeah, thats how working cows can sometimes go. Truly enjoying your videos and hope you can continue sharing what life on a ranch is really like. We need the connection between ranchers and the public so much more these days. Im loving the videos. Good for you friend!
Hi guys, new to your channel. I love the ranch lifestyle though I never got to live it. It sure looks Wholesome and family friendly. I have a silly question, do you ever use a drone to find your cattle on such large chunks of large? It sure seems like it would be a time saver. To get the drone up high enough to see so distant. Just a thought. Thanks for taking the time to video your adventures so us city folk can follow along.
Hi again from Australia. Very interesting. The lease country you have do you get the same country each year, or can you loose it to another rancher? Who is responsible for the fencing, coralls and water? Not wanting to be a sticky beak just wanting to.learn as I love USA and Canada and being a rancher like to know how things work there. Again you have great videos and your country is beautiful. From Down Under.
You aren’t a sticky beak at all! I as well am interested in other operations especially in other parts of the world so I’d love to hear more about how you guys do things! We have the leased land for as many years as we want. If we didn’t want it any more we could sell it to another rancher but, when buying or selling a forest service permit you have to buy or sell the allotted amount of cows with it. So if we sold our 200 cow permit which is about 17,000 acres we would have to sell 200 cows with the permit to the person who buys it! The rancher is usually responsible for all fencing of the permit but we do cost sharing for supplies with the forest service. We’ve built our own corrals and upkeep them as well! Thanks for the questions, I really appreciate it!!
I was going to give you grief about dirty vehicles, because they don’t match corn star farms or Larson farms. But I couldn’t, anyone who works with pasture cattle eats about 5 pounds of dust a year. Your vehicles are about 200 pounds heavier because of the mud and dust and that’s on the inside…
Howdy neighbor, from the Dobesh Ranch. I picked up those herefords right after you. Lol
Hey neighbor! Awesome, probably run into you up there sometime!

Jesus is going to come for us one of these days ... ALL his children are homeward bound.
How old are the calves when weaned?
They are about 7-8 months!
@@sleepranch thanks! They didn't seem happy about it! Your ranch stories are fascinating. Sooo much hard work to bring food to our tables.

Ya that’s probably true! Haha seems impossible to keep things clean but we could probably do a better job!
It’s hard to keep vehicles clean with all the dust on the ranch..Remember this isn’t city life…it’s ranch life…a lot living in town.. just saying…
My guess is helicopter doing routine power line patrol looking for problems.
Ya Glen I believe you’re right! At first I thought it was the ambulance helicopter but after it flew by I thought about it more
You can put anything on Trump and he will make them look good!!!!😊
