I would opt for the VX trim, good for family around the city and road trips a couple time a year. Although the third row seems fit for children rather than adults.
I guess for old gen x drivers like me, the sensing tech does not add much. Sure it might be convenient and nice to have but we had to handle cars with much less features than any modern 2023 car. I don't even have rear parking and sensor cameras. We can park just fine. That said, it is amazing how these new car tech works.
The GAC GN6, an MPV w a 1.5 turbo engine, has approx 170 hp and, more importantly, 265 Nm of torque. This torque is more appropriate for uphill climbs w full passengers and luggage. GAC also manufactures Honda, Toyota, and Mitsubishi in China so I think the company learned a lot in terms of durability and reliability.
i don't think the lack of Honda Sensing is a con if you're considering getting the V variant. you should know what you're paying for and this is the reason why i'm considering getting the V over the VX. sanay ako sa basic car features so the V will probably be good option.
if u want honda sensing but for the cost of it 1.390m but then theres the veloz for a cheaper cost with toyota safety sense for 1.250m and has a screen
Just a quick question, for the hp and torque this puts out, would it be better for the uphill drive than the veloz or xpander? I hear those are underpowered. Will they struggle more than this car?
Xpander has 4speed AT so i guess it will perform much better with proper gear pairing/handling. Veloz and BRV are both CVT which struggles on full stop inclined positions as per the video. But all 3 of them would definitely struggle with full packed seating with luggages.
I travel a lot from laguna to baguio mejo hirap ang mga 1.5 L engines for mpv body type lalo na kung paakyat na ng baguio, one issue then is for ex is kung trafic sa paakyat at seating capacity, hirap maka abante and needs high rev..
The complaints/cons from the reviewer is to personal and not very objective. We talk about the sliding of the chairs in the 2nd row then tests the 3rd row while the second row looks like it's positioned max to the back then complain about the leg room. Instead of getting information about the car the review is overshadowed by the negativity from the reviewer.
No power tailgate, outdated interior design, feels cheap for the materials used in the interior parts, 2015ish exterior design, low HP, low torque, pricey. Not gonna win against competitors.
In Baguio now, drove a 2023 Br-V here. Smooth. Hindi man lang kailangan mag shift to L gear. Solid. We drove the car from Tagaytay to Baguio in 6-8hrs

honda sensing for me not an issue as long as the car has back camera.. which is a big help everyday..
Of course it can climb up to Baguio. The question is how easy or how difficult. Is it under power or not.

considering the howling CVT and lack of soundproofing, I'll go for the manual transmission instead.
Im just curious...binebenta din ba as brand new yung mga test unit na pinagagamit sa media? Thanks
they will at a discounted price but will still honor the warranty
Im thinking which one of the best, brv or xpander cross or veloz.. pls help pa more in my decision.. thanks :)
Power and safety features go for BRV VX. 2nd choice Stargazer.
BRV.

Nice vehicle indeed. 3rd row is definitely for children not even short adults.
Jason Tulio looks like Matteo Guidicelli. Well reviewed Honda BR-V
pangarap kung car..maybe mga 3 years pa..
It seemed like normal engine sound when you punch it. Well at least here on TH-cam.
I drove to the igorot stone temple in baguio city in a toyota rush. RWD did its job with 6 adult passengers. I think with BRV it would be easier.
They say rwd is stronger in uphil than fwd. Not sure if real or myth

Sensing is not a necessity. The driver is more important
y is it not here in Nigeria
brv or xpander 2023 model?
Brv for me. 4 gear lang xpander eh
Does the BRV have 360 camera?
No.
ang daming bogart pala sa pinas
Dow undaaah

Can it go up to Balsigan with all seats occupied plus the luggage of all those 8 souls on board?

Not a fan of the dikshun sire.
Must’ve spent some time down undaah

@@venmelencio1677 buti nlng ☑..
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
wrong pricing
For new drivers if you get too dependent on sensing. Goodluck driving around Manila. Still don't like it.
ofcourse itll get noisy look at that rpm
Dami niyang reklamo
if Wigo can climb Baguio, BRV can... but with more gas
Did a quick google search - BRV (1241 kg) is almost 50% heavier than the Wigo (860 kg)
any car will get noisy with that rpm
Means its all hype with brv and all other leading brands with mpv, im talking about toyota ughhhhhh
I think the S variant is the most value for money, in a way a good upgrade from the old gen at least if you are a honda fan.
Parang HRV V n lng ako..
walang stock pag cash kahit hulugan
Now I'm deciding between Territory or CS 55 plus.
CS55 plus is miles ahead. Go for it!
