A brilliant actor and that amazing voice is the icing on the cake. Difficult to pick my favorite film from her resume but CRIMES OF PASSION stands out for me. Hollywood royalty at it's finest. Bravo Miss Turner.❤
I was lucky enough to see her in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf on Browdway, in the production they were talking about, and she was extraordinarily, Bill Irwin was a revelation for me as well.
Kathleen Turner - nuff said! Body Heat is quintessential noir even if in color (works great in B&W, too), and Mattie Walker is the ultimate femme fatale. I need to collect all her films now that she's refreshed me on her catalog, particularly the ones she cited she was especially good in.
I have Body Heat, Crimes of Passion, Prizzi’s Honor, and Peggy Sue Got Married in my film collection. They really show her extraordinary talent and range.
I think Kathleen Turner is one of the few actresses who actually embodies the term thrown around so much now it’s lost its true meaning: icon. Last of a dying breed is right!
She's the best ❤ I am sure the battle with pain has been the toughest battle ever. She's doing so well and one of the greatest actresses in the entire world.
The most fascinating interview, first time l seen her absolutely beautiful and talented, my mother died of Rheumatoid Arthritis what a terrible disease, Kathleen very strong but struggling during this interview, l luv the way she handle herself, and yet very strong and gets to the source ,and funny. GOD BLESS U THE BEST OFTHE BEST.
Wonderful interview, i’m a lifelong fan of Kathleen Turner and it’s always a treat, hear her in an interview. The interviewer is someone I worked with over 30 years ago at Glorious Food caterer. Please, what is his name?
It's sad when I talk to people under 30 who only know Turner from that Friends episode. Crimes of Passion and Peggy Sue are two of my favorite films from the 1980's. I do tend to believe Anthony Perkins was doing poppers in rehearsal as a way of getting into the deranged street preacher character. Maybe also to throw Kathleen off her game since she became such a huge star rather quickly. I really wanted to hear a little about her soap opera stint on The Doctors as the spoiled Nola Aldrich.
This interview is very new, Kathleen speaks of recently loosing Dame Maggie Smith who passed on Sept 24th, 2024 so Kathleen is 70 here on the 6th of January, 2025
Sadly kids are not reading and more than that they are not taught cursive writing. They have learned to make their signature, but so many cannot read writing.
Great actress and classy lady. One of a kind and a national treasure. We love you Miss Turner and we have *NOT* forgotten.

It's not clear when this took place? I know it was just uploaded but many of the ones I watched recently were uploaded 10 or 20 years ago.
@@profetal I think it says this took place in mid December 2024
This video was recorded at the Robin Williams Center in New York City on Friday, December 13, 2024.

It has to be pretty recent- She starts by saying she just did "Animal Farm" which still hasn't been released.
According to the video description, it was recorded in NYC on 12/13/2024.
She is so funny!
On musicals! LMAO I also don't like 'em 😅
