God answered his prayers just like his daddy took her fishing in the first verse and the robber listened in the second verse, God listened in the last verse.
that is wrong. She did die. The end of the video shows him with his son and a girl his son age running into the picture. Basically a generation cyle. So he will encourage his son to take the girl because he didn't when he was his age.
@@wrmonahan30 there was an interview from Tim clarifying. In the music video it is the wife and mother that is running to join them at the end, but in the story that inspired this the woman dies.

Everyone said she survive but the end did make me wonder how it ended.
