Was very excited to relive some childhood memories of trying rollerblading when I was a smalll kid ~ although wow it is a very different kind of skate! When I was younger I owned a pair of decathlon skates which was so fun to skate with friends, ive never taken lessons on them but we used to skate after school! Have you guys skated in your childhood before? Comment below

Yes it's in the description :) I had a pair of rollerblades before when I was like 13 or so, a lot of us have one time or another tried roller blading or ice skating in our lives but roller skating is so fun!

I call BS! You were A M A Z I N G for a first timer (then I read the description and confirmed you developed the muscle memory as kid). You're definitely a natural, AND have the perfect attitude for it. I'm in my kitchen attempting to go from the table to the sink, I don't know how you were so bold to go outside, jump and do so much wild stuff, but I'm definitely gonna try to find a little bit of that confidence from deep inside me and give this a try. Thanks for the inspiration!
Watched this vid some months ago and now that TH-cam recommended for me again I remember that I watched and thought with myself "okay... the worst thing that can happen it's me falling. And it doesn't seem so bad to fall". So thank you for this video because it's really encouraged me to rollerskate for the first time! It brings a different perspective than the other videos, the vlogs and tutorials made by the experts because... you know. they already know how to do it lmao

Yes !! I wear them all the time! In this video I didn't have them cause they hadn't arrived in the mail so I just wore volleyball knee pads to begin with 😂
I’m About a month into skating and i love it! I’ve had so much improvement and I’m still working on backwards skating, transitions, jumping, and stops. Haven’t tried spinning because I don’t have a helmet or a flat surface.
Amazing! That’s so great! I got mine from decathlon it’s not the highest impact one but still!

Just have to go for it!! Wear protective gear too it helps me progress faster!
Really work hard at the essential skills. Skating forward, then turning around, then skating backwards, etc. Get the foundational stuff down and the tricks will grow from that naturally... And you'll be a lot less likely to hurt yourself.

My first day I had to have someone next to me all the time 😂😂
BTW when you were using your stopper to stop you were supposed to kind of glide and raise up your leg
Get a backstop, nothing stops you faster, you can lean into it with all your bodyweight and you dont have any chance in falling ether! Seriously, nothing comes even close to the stopping power of a backstop!

I just recently came across roller skating and im planning on buying a pair soon but almost all “good” brands are sold out of my size and the ones that arent are almost $400 which is definitely out of my price range, but i did come across the roller skates that you have on in this video, and i was wondering if you think they’re good? would you recommend them? TIA! ☺️ (i know you have upgraded since then but i still wanna know your opinion!)
Hi! Thanks for checking out my video 💓 they are from SFR I wouldn't recommend them for long term usage as mine broke after 2 months it would be more for casual skates maybe a couple of times, if you're planning to skate more and for long times I would recommend other brands! I have a video on golden horse (the custom skates video) that are very good for beginners if you want to check that out 😙💓 & there are some entry brands that seem good too like rookie skates although I don't own those I just heard they are not bad !

excuse me i’ve been skating for over a year and i can’t turn OR go backwards.
Please put some elbow pads on and wrist pads it will help u so much and when u fall u won’t hurt urself as much
It was coming in the mail back then that’s why I had volleyball pads on, if you see my Instagram I wear pads I swear by my wrist pads 💖
WOW YOU'RE SO GOOD! I just bought the exact same skates that you did. What's your opinion on them? Are they good?
the SFR ones? they are okay but wouldn't recommend for long term use especially not for jumps mine lasted me like 2 months!

Is it really that easy because am gonna get a four sided one like you but i really need to know is it hard or easy because i never tried it before-
I think everyone is different in their learning styles for me personally, I have roller bladed as a kid for fun like those skates from decathlon so I think that definitely helped me and I played competitive sports for 8 years I think past experiences definitely play a role in how easy it is to pick up roller skating!
But I think you should definitely give it a go you might love it! If not then it would be a fun summer activity!

Hi I’ve ordered some and I’m a size 6 normally in shoes uk but I got 1 size bigger (7) Can I ask what size feet you have and how much bigger up you got in your size and did they fit?
