@@SilentEliminator I think he means that you need at least 712, but not more as well. Since the jump really is precise, having 753 would make the car bonk somewhere so it's still a bypass
@@SilentEliminator If they jumped straight at 753, they would have probably either bonked on the slope the car jumps under, or overjumped the checkpoint entirely
The car was going too fast, as you need 712 speed at the end of the uphill to make the jump, and of you go any faster, you would not get to the first platform fast enough, and your downward velocity would be too high to get to the next platform. He reduced airtime while keeping his speed by going off the left edge. The reason why he still landed on the next platform without falling off the left side, is because his two right wheels hooked onto the road before his car went off the end of the uphill, and the car barely made it to the next platform without falling off the left side or hitting the ring cp.
compared to some TAS of other maps, this one is gracefully gliding over the map, unobstructed and unbothered by even the most perilous obstacles. and the music fits perfectly with that, especially in the beginning. 👍
though i can't wait till someone creates an insane TAS that just chains uberbugs and nosebugs and whatever else to utterly destroy any world records humans could ever hope to achieve. certainly wouldn't be the first map for that to happen to.
Greetings from Wirtual‘s reaction! He told us to leave some love here so that’s a little comment from me to help the algorithm :) oh and obviously liked the video.
10 minute track TAS saves 32 seconds, that's roughly 5%. Looking at sports like swimming and running 5% is a MASSIVE gap ahead of what is already a world record performance. I would attribute a lot of that to how inconsistent many of these strategies are though. If you are grinding a track and have to go for 9 minutes only to fail the last jump 99% of the time trying to do the insane corkscrew flip that's gonna get old real fast. There are a LOT of moves here that the margin between a perfect path and a mistake so severe it instantly ends the run is so narrow no human could do it reliably. You end up exponentially increasing the time spent grinding on the map to get a clean run, and when the map is 10 minutes long that time starts stretching beyond human lifetimes.
WHOA or whaaat jk aside I was wondering why you didn't skip any looping? Considering the work that went into this TAS I reckon there's a reason for that?
-The infamous speed check is coming up!
-Oh, yes, let me do a crazy corkscrew ramp cut for airtime reduction!
I mean, without that the car woulda prob either jumped over or bonked the roof
with 755 speed, don't forget that
That jump at the end OMG, what an ingenious way to bypass the 712 speed requirement
Bypass? They had 753 speed... WAY over the requirement
@@SilentEliminator I think he means that you need at least 712, but not more as well. Since the jump really is precise, having 753 would make the car bonk somewhere so it's still a bypass

@@SilentEliminatorit's an extremely tight window, ~714+ will crash you
@@Corrupted Wow interesting, didn't know the window was not only a minimum, but a maximum extremely tight
Hypnotic. Wow.
Also, "Strobe" suits perfectly with everything IMHO.
Cool stuff! That end flip at 9:17 is crazy, gj
I really had to watch in slomo, and still dont understand it

Best gift for my birthday, also strobe❤️
no luck run just for you, have a great day bro and happy birthday 🍻
@@xeqzion thank you legend🙏❤️
Piece of art. Clearly visible that you have to deal with a lot of things due to the overspeed you gained.
Nice TAS.
hypnotic
so this is what perfection looks like, amazing

Dropping off the side of the final ramp just about destroyed my brain. Truly a "because why not" strat.
Dodging that ring checkpoint after that flip jump just made my jaw drop!
Nice TAS!
Absolutely.
Amazing work, it's very satisfying to watch just how smooth it is. +1 for Deadmau5 too.

really wicked dude, keep it up!
Amazing! Thank you
Goes to show that even a human can be so close to perfection that even the perfect run is only slightly faster
