There is uprising mod that can play online. Unfortunately, competitively giga is not strong as you thought, considering high tech, ridiculous high price and slow as fk. Harbinger is also not that strong, but better than giga, because it's much faster
Why do people think RA3 is bad? I mean yeah, cartoony textures and such. But still, it’s 3-D, has 3 factions, actual proper graphics (at that time) and good soundtracks that don’t sound like multiple machines humming? Just because RA3 is a little more goofy than the rest, doesn’t mean that RA2 was the most serious game ever ‘-‘

Wow I did not know sooo much people play RA3&RA2 when I player RA2 I thought no one played this game so I did not play online but after watching those vids I'll try the online mode+I'll dowland some modes.

I like this game, but the style of Tiberium War is more perfect than RA3 because the graphics of Tiberium War look so real. I love Kane voices, and GDI, NOD, SCRIN is more amazing than Soviet, Allices, Japan.

Idk how people love RA2 and prefare it over this one... The only drawbacks are cartoonish animations and some of the soundtracks.

I'm pretty sure you cant even get handle with medium (PC) because you're not playing strategical. You're waiting to get develop and then attack. It's very fast game. i think you should be able to control many things while you're playing

Allies are one of the least versatile factions in the game. Just attack their economy early on with mortar cycles or mech tengus... The standard start is with 10000 credits. Personally it's way more fun than 40 k credits. It's essentially a death match.
Giga fortresses are one of the most expensive crap you can ever use. In terms of damage dealt, 6.3 k worth waveforce arti or 6.3 k worth of strikers do the same or more. And it's tier 3units. Take them off before they use it lmao.
Kirovs are slow af. Never liked using them.

1. RA3 is by far, the Badest CnC ever made.
2. Never build your Powerplants so close to each other, One Superweapon in there and your whole base is Down.

1. Worst CNC ever made was Tiberian Twilight. Unquestionably. The reason most people didn't like RA3 was because it was a micro based game, while every other CNC or RA was a macro based game. RA3 simplified and streamlined economic management and production while adding secondary functions to all units that had to be manually triggered. This forced players to use smaller numbers of units with more finesse instead of outproducing an opponent. The matter of which style is superior is one of opinion, but as someone who has played every game from the release day of the original Command and Conquer by Westwood Studios in the 90's, I think the shift in style was refreshing. It forced long time players to rethink their usual BO's and tactics that could usually just be copied and pasted into a new game with some minor tweaks. It was nice to play a game in which the tier 2 mass armor push was almost always a non viable strategy.
2. Clustered PP's are a double edged sword. You have a valid point about his grid going down all at once due to their proximity. Super Weapons are slow to count down though and in most instances, 5-6 mins is more than enough time to neutralize one. I would be far more concerned of a Soviet orbital dump, sneaky kirov, or a 1-3 striker VX's getting in there. Advanced Rocket Pods will level structures in seconds. The other side though is that if you centralize the power grid, it makes it far more defensible. So if you know that you are going to be turtling up for quite a while as he did, it isn't nearly as big of a deal. 1-4 multigunners can easily keep your power defended barring 1 clicks. The key is to deny vision of the PPs. Even if the enemy knows they are there, they can not 1 click them unless they can see them. This is especially good in SVA because mass flak cannons make it almost impossible for allied strike aircraft to be cost effective. I have lost more than 1 game against allied players who just continually pick off my generator cores or PPs with vindies because I am trying not to condense them and can't defend them all without spreading my forces too thin, so its not always the best strategy.
3. The most overpowered unit in RA3 if used correctly is without a doubt the cryo copter. There is one particular person who used to play this game professionally that I have seen defeat 3 other pro players in a 1v3 with this unit and planning mode being the key factors in almost every engagement.
