Thank you for your excellent question! Coin-handling gloves can leave fiber residue on our coins and cause our packers' dexterity to decrease. As such, all employees receive training about handling coins by using the thumb and index finger to hold the coin by the rim. We are preventing damage from accidents caused by the slippery surface created by coin-handling gloves. In the video, you may notice that none of the coins are touched on the face; only the coin's rim is held.
