i want to add images in the submenus in the navbar but it kinda overlaps and flatsome does not have dropdown in columns....can you help me with it? it just works like a fly menu directly because i would need it like a column, if its in column i can scroll the menu when there are many options. The standard answer to basically any design question in the Facebook forum is "you need CSS for that". I think Flatsome is crap but obviously everyone must decide for themselves. A hint though, would be to have a look in their Facebook and see what kind of questions ppl want help with. I personally think it is a complete drag having to reach out for help to figure out how to change a background color or tweak the space between objects and things like that. Especially if the answer often times is "you need CSS for that" and especially if you have to rely on other users to have the answers for you since the Flatsome support doesn't give you much help and take forever to get back to you. Another thing is all the bugs and odd behaviour of different objects, which is due to incompatibility with plugins I reckon. You think the responsiveness is great? Man, you can't even set the breakpoints with less than messing with the actual code! Well, as for me I wish I had looked around a bit more carefully before getting stuck with this crap.
Flatsome is the best. It's better and cheaper than Elementor and Divi. The new HTML features make Flatsome better for fancy Figma designs and customization. Before you couldn't really customize Flatsome. Now the new upgrades for 2022 is making it the best theme builder.
I like flat some, but I need to update everything again, I didn’t open my site for about a year now, I guess it’s time to revisit and do it again during time. Thanks Darell😀

I purchased flatsome and woodmart. I feel woodmart is more complete theme. Woodmart has sticky footer, wishlist (not yithwishlist) and social login integrated. What do you think about flatsome compared to woodmart?

I have had flatsome for about 2 years and it’s amazing !!!! Once in a blue moon there are glitches... but overall it’s the best. Seriously 5 stars and I built my website myself.

EspressAds _ You can create a custom shop page then in the settings display only the categories you want and leave out the one you don’t want( you can use a product’s widget) and set categories

The best compliment I can give Flatsome is that I try to replace it and I can't find a solid replacement. I have hundreds of Divi sites and love the builder but the theme lacks essential and diversified features for e-commerce. You say if it is so great then why replace it? Envato. There is no developer license and I hate Envato.
Lee Casey yes but you can only validate the license on one site. Not a big deal it only keeps you from the automatic updates. You just update the theme folder through ftp and you are good to go. I run it on a number of sites.
I love flatsome but it's a bit frustrating as it is indeed 'flat'... everything has to be integrated. I have a major headache rigth now trying to figure out to integrate LearnDash with Flatsome so buyers get access to their course content once they purchase their course. It's not that easy and I've tried to hire quite a few people and they eventually don't know what to do to setup the front end properly.

The Flatsome theme has a lot of good features for Woocommerce sites. However, it seems like they left it incomplete and some missing features are hard to find. On the other hand, their tech support is terrible and I even venture to say that it is non-existent. I've sent them three tickets in a period of two weeks and they haven't replied. Beware if you buy theme and don't waste your money paying for the extra support. It is a shame that such promising theme has been left to the wayside.
Stable? They don’t even follow WooCommerce best practices. And if you haven’t had any update problems you’re lucky. It’s one of the worst theme I know. Regarding the updates, they are way behind WooCommerce constantly. Flatsome is probably the last choice for me when building a web shop.

Why it's one of the most downloaded Woocommerce themes can be for many reasons, these are a few of my theories, One might be that it's works good if you follow the way that Flatsome thinks you should do things, so it's easy for not so experienced people to get a good looking webshop. But if you a developer you quickly notice various things that can be really annoying. Another reason can be that it's been around for such a long time so when people google on Woocommerce themes they often see Flatsome. A third reason is that many people that buy a theme end up on Themeforest and see that Flatsome is ranked no.1 and buy it for that reason. I've been managing a Flatsome webshop for the last four years and there are so many really huge plugins that simply doesn't work with Flatsome or at least not without writing code to work around the problem. If you don't believe me, try searching for "not compatible with flatsome". I've been working with web since late 90's and to be honest, I don't know any developer that likes Flatsome. I'm sure there are, but not among my network. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I base my opinion on four years of working with Flatsome on one site and on the fact that I've been a developer for over 20 years. So I don't see why Faltsome can't be a technically pretty bad theme and still be popular among ordinary people that want something easy. I ran a test using Lighthouse (Open Source from Google for auditing various things such as speed for example, github.com/GoogleChrome/lighthouse). I am using flatsome and I like it but if I want to change things like I imagine them(In my case the custom product page) it often takes a lot of time to fix problems that come up with that, like you described it. @@harishandanovic972 Hard question as I don't know your budget, needs etc... But I would check out three page builders to start with, Elementor (most likely you want to have Pro), Brizy Pro and Divi. I personally think that Oxygen is great as well, but it might be a steeper learning curve. When it comes to themes, some good are: WPAstra (or just Astra) Neve and Hestia from ThemeIsle Divi (it's a theme as well) GeneratePress With Oxygen you don't need a theme. All themes (+Oxygen) have ready made sites that you can import to get a good start. Hope you'll find something that suits your needs.

When i install yith wishlist plugin and slider revolution plugin then that's module is not showing in divi page builder.

You can use ultimate member pro with flatsome they should be both compatible with each other

Actually I think Porto theme is nicer than Flatsome theme for a shop. You should check it out and maybe make a review 😉✌

The Flatsome theme has a lot of good features for Woocommerce sites. However, it seems like they left it incomplete and some missing features are hard to find. On the other hand, their tech support is terrible and I even venture to say that it is non-existent. I've sent them three tickets in a period of two weeks and they haven't replied. Beware if you buy theme and don't waste your money paying for the extra support. It is a shame that such promising theme has been left to the wayside.

Stable? They don’t even follow WooCommerce best practices. And if you haven’t had any update problems you’re lucky.
It’s one of the worst theme I know.
Regarding the updates, they are way behind WooCommerce constantly.
Flatsome is probably the last choice for me when building a web shop.

Why it's one of the most downloaded Woocommerce themes can be for many reasons, these are a few of my theories,
One might be that it's works good if you follow the way that Flatsome thinks you should do things, so it's easy for not so experienced people to get a good looking webshop. But if you a developer you quickly notice various things that can be really annoying.
Another reason can be that it's been around for such a long time so when people google on Woocommerce themes they often see Flatsome.
A third reason is that many people that buy a theme end up on Themeforest and see that Flatsome is ranked no.1 and buy it for that reason.
I've been managing a Flatsome webshop for the last four years and there are so many really huge plugins that simply doesn't work with Flatsome or at least not without writing code to work around the problem. If you don't believe me, try searching for "not compatible with flatsome".
I've been working with web since late 90's and to be honest, I don't know any developer that likes Flatsome. I'm sure there are, but not among my network. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I base my opinion on four years of working with Flatsome on one site and on the fact that I've been a developer for over 20 years.
So I don't see why Faltsome can't be a technically pretty bad theme and still be popular among ordinary people that want something easy.
I ran a test using Lighthouse (Open Source from Google for auditing various things such as speed for example, github.com/GoogleChrome/lighthouse). Here you have the result:

They host their site on Google Cloud through WP Engine, so the site should be WAY faster. And I even tested their most basic demo,

@@DanielNordmark Hey Daniel, are you working with a theme? If so what theme would you recommend for building an e-commerce site? I am using flatsome and I like it but if I want to change things like I imagine them(In my case the custom product page) it often takes a lot of time to fix problems that come up with that, like you described it. To my person: I am not a developer just someone who learned the basics of html, css and some javascript, to customize websites and build a webshop.

But I would check out three page builders to start with, Elementor (most likely you want to have Pro), Brizy Pro and Divi.
I personally think that Oxygen is great as well, but it might be a steeper learning curve.
When it comes to themes, some good are:
WPAstra (or just Astra)
Neve and Hestia from ThemeIsle
Divi (it's a theme as well)
GeneratePress
With Oxygen you don't need a theme.
All themes (+Oxygen) have ready made sites that you can import to get a good start.
Hope you'll find something that suits your needs.
This is a very important question ... If Flatsome fails after updates then I can be said to be unstable. @DarrelWilson do you have answers for this?
