The original song was by Hatchi. According to his original notes this song is about a girl who is a baseball ringer which will play for anyone who will pay her in opium for her addiction. When Panda Hero uses the opium to enter a crazed state which after she uses to win games because it makes her basically psychotic and crazy. After the game is over and she helps win the game, She goes after the losers in a psychotic type fit.

They would provide opium to to the assassin to get them into a predetermined euphoric state which brings on the homicidal tendencies where the individual will do what ever it took to murder the target. Basically, oblivious to everything around them except their goal and to achieve that goal at any and all cost.
Panda Hero is referring to this dark side of opium which an individual becomes euphoric driven to win a game of baseball by any and all means possible then beat up the other team win or lose as Panda Hero is in a trance from the opium which again can magnified any underlying mental illness as people in euphoric states have zero moral control over their actions. Which is why Opium was considered one of the worst drugs to be addicted to around 1900. Opium dens commonly had patrons who fought gun and knife fights over simple games of chance as they saw the competition as being part of their life and failure was not an option.

Baseball=Metaphor for gang fights (With the Panda Hero using a baseball bat as her weapon)
"Panda Hero"=Girl who fights for whoever gets her drugs. "Hero" meaning hero but also short for heroine, and "Panda" for the bags under eyes that she got from drug use.
Panda Hero=Could also be the drugs and opium themselves. "We don't like her, though she's called a Hero", "But of course we keep coming to our ol Hero" and it's sort of personified as "a girl of flippancy and warning lights". Opium is the weapon of choice for gangs. It has no side, no loyalty to either. Just a tool that they use to win.
Am I missing anything? Anyone up for some philosophical discussion over this?

I have a small theory about this song (it's more of a thing I randomly came up with at like 1am, but meh). Maybe the Panda Hero is the leader of a gang and before her gang fights another one, she takes the opium. The drug causes her to view the fight as a baseball game, though it really isn't. I then just kind of imagine her swinging her bat around as if she is playing baseball, but is instead hitting the enemy gang's members.
I don't really believe this theory, I just thought that it was interesting. :3 Sorry if it's already been written!
