The surgery are posible and mostly successful but the goal of a 100% recovery are now the hardest part. Over 5inches the less probable you recover 100% .

Don‘t do 10 cm lon my brother. Use precice to reduce the risk of infection and making the process easier. 8cm is enough and is in fact the safe limit, your recovery will be way better and less complications will occur. Come back after a year or so and do the tibias 6cm which results in 14 cm and you being 190 bro
