Few question recommendations about the next interview: 1. Ask more questions about the outcomes. a) how much people averagely lenghten femur/tibia b) what is the recovety time for each segment 2. Ask about the complications a) what percentage of surgeries have complications b) how much of it is temporary/permanent c) long term effects like arthritus, numbness, etc. 3. Ask about the new bone a) in percentage how much weaker it it than the real god given bone b) do preople get fractures/breaks when they push the limmits in the gym/sports 4. At which leinghts do commplications start to ocur? a) a guy that's 5'3 is safe to lenghten 3cm tib 5 cm fem a guy thats 5'9 might lenghten 4.5cm tib 8cm fem etc... b)how much fisiotherapy is needed post consolidation I know that these doctors are big shots and you want them to come for interviews but this one was tooooooo much of a softball when it came to questions.
lol yeah I wanted to paint an overview pic of LL in this interview plus Dr. M is just awesome. Each interview I'm able to get will have a slightly different aspect focus. I copied down your questions to implement in future interviews thanks!
Love this interview. Thank you Victor for being honest about your own journey. I’m seeing Dr. Mahboubian for a consultation this week. I’ll keep you posted.
Thanks Sepo, yeah I will definitely survey everyone for questions before the next interview to address more pertinent topics. Hope you're staying well!
This doc seems to know what he's talking about. I always hear horror stories about doctors in china and south asia and how their procedures aren't effective. Good thing there are options in europe and north america as well.
Absolutely I've been watching his work for years and his patient success speaks for itself. He understands the industry has some unqualified docs hence why I plan to highlight the good ones
Great video! If you could get an interview with dr. Betz, I’d be awesome! From what if read and seen, there has been a lot of discussion about him, and some think he’s controversial - and some think he’s fantastic. It could be cool if you could debunk some of the misconceptions about him, and why people have those about him in the first place💪🏻
Cyborg 4 Life One topic could definitely be the amount of lengthening he does - for instance, he lengthens the femur up to 12 cm, which most doctors don’t recommend. Another topic could be about this nail, the “betzbone”.
It took you about 6-8 months to run and about a year to go back to your activity- lifting. If you had lengthened both legs instead, how long do you think would it take you?
Hello i did femur lenghtening with lon method and intramodollary nail . Now i am week after the remove of external fixator . I have tow questions 1 when the the stiffness of knee joint relif ? 2 i have constent pain in the knees that cant make me sleep at night and doring the day . Will it go and when ?
First off congratulations on making it through your LON femur lengthening! The knee stiffness will linger for a bit of time but you need to be sure you're staying on top of your physical therapy rigorously as it will help get blood and nutrients to facilitate better knee motion. That goes for the pain too. PT will hurt when being done but the next day it gets easier and the next etc. So I'd say expect about 2-3 weeks until you notice a big drop off since you just got the external removed. Also nutrition is very important for healing the soft tissue so lean proteins and vitamins from dark green vegetables are key!
Could you arrange an interview with Dr. Guichet? I have heard he can lengthen insane amounts in the femur, way more than any other doctor does using his own Guichet nail. I am very curious as to how that works. It is somewhat controversial. Thanks!
Well you would do it one surgery at a time so something like 5 months for say 3 inches on femurs and 5 months for 2 inches on tibiae so about 10 months so about 1 year plus rehab and build up about 1.5 years I'd say is a good estimate
I know Dr. Parihar has a good amount of track record supporting him. I've looked into Turkey doctors but no one is replying to me at the moment. I will make a video eventually on international doctors
lol it was kinda a joke...but kinda not. IF I do, it'll be after I'm done competitive pro natural bodybuilding can't afford another sabbatical facing that caliber of competition
Would be pretty interesting if you got LL done again. Does getting half the length on the tibia and the other half on the femur lower the chances of complications such as nerve damage? I know it would be more expensive but would it be effective in minimizing severe muscle stretching? Great vid tho
It's possible risk would be less so long as the lengths are equal it won't matter. I know after I was hit by a car at age 9, the monolateral external fixator caused a slight height increase in my right femur. So when I got an internal precice on my tibia done my doc lengthened enough to balance the hips which is the goal in LL as that's where most weight distribution takes place.
This is an extremely invasive surgery with a multitude of risks. Please only consider it if medically necessary. This surgery is only completely successful 4 out of 10 times. The risk of life long pain and discomfort from this surgery is very high. It’s not worth the hefty price tag, the months of pain, and the very likely life long side effects. Some of the long term effects of this surgery are joint stiffness, skin pain, soft tissue tightness, increased risk for bone breaks or fractures. Your nerves are stretched in this procedure and they literally break your bones, it’s possible to suffer from nerve damage after this. This surgery is fraught with complications. Before considering this, instead of speaking to a biased doctor, please do your research online or speak with your family doctor.
idk man limb lengthening again? Aren't you concerned about the potential nerve or muscle damage it can create? I mean with the right doctor it can be possible and have great results but what about the future? Say in 30-40 years what will the ROM and overall physical abilities be like?
lol yeah I might not. Most of my desires were quenched initially. Plus there's always new research in the works looking to advance the field that may lower the risks. Time will tell
Lol thats not possible man. Your max is prob 6'1 and that's pushing it. Think about how short your arms and torso would look compared to your legs. You'd look really weird

Yes! Glad to hear it. Alright sounds good please do!
Very informative vid! You should also interview Dr Donghoon Lee if you can. What are your thoughts on him?
Yup he's on my list to reach out to also. I think he's also a great surgeon based on the work and patient stories I hear
Love you Brother thx for the video ❤️
You got it
Great video, wish it was longer with more questions, really enjoyed watching it and learned a lot. Thanks Victor for the continuous effort.

Great video! You asked very precise questions. Thanks for posting!
Love ur vids bro. God bless 🙏🏼
Much appreciated
Fantastic Interview
Thanks. The Doctor mentioned about FAT EMBOLISM and PULMONARY EMBOLISM. Do please talk about it next time. This is a great video.
Okay thanks!
Am not even worried about the pain am getting it done as long as I save up.

Some great work here for sure!
Can u please have interview with doctors from Russia . They might add extra informations. Thank u
I'll see what I can do
He's the 🐐!
Indeed he is!
Good job.
It took you about 6-8 months to run and about a year to go back to your activity- lifting. If you had lengthened both legs instead, how long do you think would it take you?
Same time. I was just waiting for the bone to fully consolidate and regain muscle strength etc. I just would've done both legs rehab instead of one.

Did you do the limb lengthening surgery on both legs?
what about gaining 5'' how long will it take to recover then?
Well you would do it one surgery at a time so something like 5 months for say 3 inches on femurs and 5 months for 2 inches on tibiae so about 10 months so about 1 year plus rehab and build up about 1.5 years I'd say is a good estimate
Hey bro how many time takes to you walk without dificult after lenghting 2 inches for exemple its about 6 mounts
Yeah I notice it took me around 5 months to start walking after having tibia done and at 6 months I was walking faster more easily
Another question I want to ask and that is, Do they have medical insurance that covers these kind of surgeries?
Unfortunately no
""Aah man that sucks... Well thanks!
Bro what determines who the 'surgery is for' is it only for short people?
No it's not just for those who are shorter. It can be for anyone who wants to gain height and are mentally fit according to the doctors assessment
How tall were you before you got the surgery.
I remember being about 5'7 and a 1/4" to just about 5'9"
Please i want to know turkey and indian doctor professional experienced in leg legthning surgeon.
I know Dr. Parihar has a good amount of track record supporting him. I've looked into Turkey doctors but no one is replying to me at the moment. I will make a video eventually on international doctors
Please also ask that where are they from ??
I did. He's from LA, CA
Please i want to know turkey doctor
Me too I have looked but no luck yet of getting any response

4 surgery in total. And maybe another one to get the internal nails out
