I used to party all the time in Brixton 20 odd years ago. 414 Coldharbour Lane, the Fridge, Fridge Bar, Dogstar, the Living Room, Mass, George IV on Brixton Hill. There were lots of hard house nights back then. I suppose they're all gone now. Brixton doesn't look as rough and as tough as it used to be then.

Things were so bad and dangerous that my parents decided we need to move out and never really seen how it has become all these 40+ years! I must say it looks great and hopefully will visit someday soon.

I've been living there for 2 years (2002-2004) and its way different i remember 🤣🤣🤣 Back in those days there is no way u could find those white dudes at all, but walking up fast and looking down🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣..these millenials are lucky now lol. Brixton was bad in dem days man,killings,drug dealers,junkies, moggers,rapist,liberty takers and all that.never mind the gentrification, better brixton though!(Nigeria)
It has changed so incredibly much, i used to work there in a music store in the early eighties and after i left people told me it had become even worse, but a lot if it has gone now and it appears to have radically changed, it’s creepy i know, but i have to say ethnic replacement appears to have happened. Kind of sad, but it looks like a different vibe and people.
