The Brave was the best for me. Broke track record at grade 1 track Goodwood on the bridle. Fastest ever 2f-1f furlong in his derby. Think of all the Derby horses over many many years who've all quickened in that crucial furlong and DB was quicker than all of them Then add the quality of opposition he beat in great races. He has the full resume in comparison to the others in this great list

Frankel, brilliantly trained by Henry Cecil but kept at a mile until late on in his 4 year old career and did not have the scope of distances that DB had or the quality of opposition.

Dancing Brave for me ....if Frankel had raced and beaten other horses, other than his regular foe in Excelebration, and raced 1 1/4f it might have been more even. But for covering all middle distances, and beating top notch oppostion..there's only one winner for me....Enable was also a beast to behold - a wondermare
I loved Frankel but The arc and Derby Double are much more difficult to win! And have alot more better horses than Frankel was up against. Also Frankel did not have the Stamina for longer than 1mile 2 f.

Watching Enable winning the Arc, half of them horses have been to Aust and dine nothing, for a 2400m race they would not handle a Caulfield Cup the way its run, they walk over there in Europe for 2000m then sprint a Caulfield Cup is a 2400m sprint rough and tough, even a Tancred Stakes at WFA these horses would not handle the way we race here in Aust.
The only thing wrong with frankel compared to the rest is he didn't really race much,old excelebration was his whipping horse but the opposition drops off pretty dramatically,the others earn their title but i cant decide out of them the big A or enable,but either they weren't scared to race overseas and take on all comers
when he won at royal ascot he ran the last 5 furlongs of the mile in a quicker time than the group 1. 5 furlong race was run in. the group 1 sprint over 5 furlongs is run on the last 5 furlongs of the mile course.

Frankel nearly lost thru jockey error but because the oppo was sub standard he got away with it.

Cirrus Des Aigles was a great horse.
After Excelebration got hammered in the QA he went to France, ran in Jacques le Marois (Group 1) (3yo+ and easily beat 8 individual G1 winners
