I'm ready for him to review Le Parfum already. Macy's has it. I've seen a few channels review it already, but I only trust Ash🤷🏾♂️
How is performance for you? I sampled it and it smelled awesome, but only lasted 1 hour with moderate projection. It faded to a skin scent and lasted for another 3 hours before it was gone completely. My wife verified this also - she couldn't smell anything after 4 hours.
Unfortunately for me, 1-2 hrs tops. Smells amazing though @@DeadeyeJoe37

So I was unaware of just how compliment grabbing Layton truly is. I wore it the last 2 days, in high heat, and sprayed more than I normally would for a regular fragrance, and both times I got 2 unsolicited comments from strangers while I was just minding my own business shopping. Was not expecting it.
It’s one of the best out there for that, especially comments from women.

@danieldaniel1210 I agree with you. I don't seek compliments and rarely ever get them, which is why it was shocking to me when I got 2 in 2 days.
I get a ton of compliments when i wear my Polo 67
Opening to Myslf is fantastic! I was addicted to it when I first got it. Yes simple, boring, blah blah,,I couldnt believe all the hate it received now the same people that hated it and called it trash are now saying how its great..Too many followers not enough leaders. Not you Ash. We all love you and I think you know it. Thank you for the awesome content. Keep keepin on and keep the atomizers pumpin!
How's the performance on it? I've been hearing that it's weak, and I really don't want to believe it.
@@iammarvp1 Performance for me is 6 hrs longevity with about 2 feet of projection but I tend to spray heavily. I dont really care if others smell what i wear. I wear fragrances for me. The best thing about this one is the versatility and then the awesome fresh scent.

I personally find the opening extremely polarizing and a synthetic mess,with harsh tones of furniture polish.
It's a pass from me.(tried multiple times).
I'll stick to Y le parfum,the best from the cash grabbing Y line!
Born In Roma Intense is one of my signatures. I always buy it at Ulta with my Ulta Credit Card cause it’s always out of stock on FB, so I build up points, pay it off, and now I have $157 worth of points at Ulta. Time for a new fragrance

I’ve I think something like bleu de Chanel smells better and is way cheaper and I got more compliments wearing Versace Eros than imagination

Sauvage smells like a flowery women’s perfume. Azzaro completely blows Dior away

If ANYONE THINKS wearing a fragrance is gonna get you compliments I'm sorry but it doesn't happen, I have 60 fragrances and consider myself a decent looking chap, but I can remember 1 spontaneous comment in the last 3 years of a co worker, and that was from green Irish tweed.. please wear fragrances to smell nice for you not anyone else because you will be horribly disappointed.
Exactly! I'm overweight and it doesn't matter if I wear my creeds, Chanel, dupes, whatever. It doesn't matter if I'm in my nicest suit either. Nobody compliments the fat guy. I smell nice for myself and that's it.
My theory is that looks don't matter that much. Sure, clean, decent clothes etc help. But I believe that one's "approachability" makes it easier for people to give you compliments. A more open and friendlier attitude help imo.
I myself regularly get complimented, mostly guys wanting to buy the same fragrance, and sometimes by women as well.
But definitely wear what makes YOU happy... don't wear some fragrance that you don't love but others seem to like!
It's funny, i actually have gotten compliments from women unprompted about my fragrance at least 3 times and every time the fragrance was Nautica Voyage. I have great and complex expensive scents but the $20 Ross frag is what gets me the most compliments
I want to try Polo 67 so bad but I can’t bring myself to buy it bc I’m pretty sure it will be like 50 bucks 6 months from now.
It’s definitely worth it
The retail price of Polo 67 is not outrageous. I bought it at retail and I think the fragrance is worth the retail price. It’s my favorite designer of the year.
Caught a sample with another order I placed... Opened it up and was like I HAVE TO HAVE THIS! I won't make the mistake I did with Dylan Blue I'm not buying the King Kong bottle size 4.2 is PLENTY I have over 60 fragrances and the Middle East is dominating each week!

Recently went to an inside social event. I hugged 7 women and all 7 had the same reaction: What is that? You smell great. The answer was Limewood by Blackcliff Parfums.

I'm wearing Born in Roma Intense today. Smells great and it's versatile. I consider it an all seasons fragrance.
It sure would be nice if JPG would get their releases out on time in the US. Le Beau Paradise Garden is still nowhere to be found here and I get the feeling it won't arrive until fall, at the earliest.
Yeah, I wonder what the hold up is. It's frustrating because I just want to put my nose on it to see what so many people have raved about.
I couldn't find Paradise Garden anywhere in the U.S. but stumbled across a bottle at Sephora on holiday in Barcelona, Spain and wore it for ten days, and it is perfect for a summer beach town retreat.
It was on sale on JPG website during father holiday. Snatched a 100ml for $128
I saw the most wanted and parfum $85 for the 3.4 yesterday on Amazon (prime day). Already have both but for anyone looking they should be available still today.
While I have seen Ash mention LV Imagination in a few videos especially when referring to clones of the fragrance, unless I've missed something, I think this is the first time I have ever seen him include it in a list. It receives a ridiculous amount of hype in FB groups, and I actually like it a lot myself. But I just assumed Ash was not that enamored with it. Maybe, he doesn't feature it that often because he prefers to have his videos focus on more affordable fragrances which I definitely appreciate.
They are having a deal at Sephora right now, for a two pack of Azzaro The Most Wanted 10 ml travel sprays. I just got it on Monday; it has the parfum and the newer Intense EDP for $35! That makes it only cost $1.75/ml and it's usually double that. The 100 ml bottle of the parfum costs $125, so that's only $0.50 cents less per ml than the two pack I just got. And I got to try the newer one too. I really like it so far.
I have profondo EDP, JPG paradise garden and will be getting valentino. Love all 3.
I love all fragrances that you have mentioned with the exception of JPG Paradise Garden which I absolutely can not stand and dislike. The coconut note gives it a pungent sweat smell that I hate

Ash, don’t you think Gucci guilty elixir should be considered for this list ? I bought mine a few months back and I’m in love with it. A very beautiful scent, similar to amouage reflexión and a high quality smelling perfume, I’ve use it everywhere and ppl always have something to say about it, can’t be ignored.

Its crazy, I've spent sooo much $ on cologne, but the one I probably get most compliments on (or at least top 5) is cheapie Thallium by Yves De Sistelle
I recently tried Polo '67 and I personally don't get the hype one bit, but to each their own.. Spicebomb Infared is awesome, not sure if I've ever smelled the EDP but I'm sure it's great..

Sauvage Elixir is worth twice it's price I just wish it was more year round friendly. Oh well, something to look forward to in winter and fall.
Polo 67 is everything that YSL Myslf wants to be. The former comes off as crisp and bright while drying down into a creamy addictive vetiver, while the latter smells cheap and weirdly powdery.

I blind bought JPG PG, I didn’t like it , but thought maybe others would. none of my family members liked it, coworkers didn’t either, even told me to return it lol it smelled like coconut sunscreen like $2.99 sunscreen is what most people said 😭. YSL has been my best compliment getter, even men saying they wanted to get it for themselves and women saying they wanted to get it for their husbands/boyfriend.

Ash is there anything that smells similar to Tommy Hilfiger? It's an old fav. of mine - I love the way it smells but the projection/longevity is terrible. I've never heard anyone talk about it?

I have the original profumo and profondo and I cannot stand to wear either one of them.. I don't know what I was thinking.. stuff always smells better in the store.. they're' going in my bathrooms for air freshener.
When you try these 2 juice 1 year later, you will feel bad, why you didn't use such a long time. Definitely compliment getters
Hey Ash, quick question for you. For somebody with a moderate sized collection (like less than 30 bottles), if you already have Myslf, is there any reason to get Polo 67 in your opinion? Or is there just too much overlap?
Answer is no.. but if you want it, wait till the price drops.
Actually they are different, not like identical. Polo 67 has that pineaple note, while Myslf has the floral note, laundry feel to it. I own both and I enjoy both.

You don't have to spend lots on expensive niche fragrances to attract compliments. Any decent quality cheapie will get favourable comments once you spray on enough to be noticed by those around you.
I get like 5 or 6 compliments a YEAR at most. I wear both niche and designer🤣. I don’t know where you guys are living to get so many compliments
Ysl Myself is way overrated imo. Means too feminine, hardly projects and doesn’t last long, I do t get the hype.

They're probably having an olfactory effect (going smell blind) or trolling, YSL EDP is a very strong fragrance. It's very rare for fragrances companies to water down their products for no reason, unless some particular ingredient was banned.

Aye y’all I need help with some fall/winter fragrances. I want to buy some now since I’m sure they will be on sale before fall and winter. I prefer things under 120 or clones is perfectly fine.
Fragrance World clones hit well, Just Azraq is a clone of Invictus Elixir, Just Aswad is Savage Elixir, and Tobacco Myth is a clone of Mystery Tobacco all solid for colder weather.
