Decided to go with the scroll chips..thanks for the video. We usually buy-in for $20..really wish they made a quarter chip for this set..considering the verenati $.25 chips in place..they seem to be the closest match. Thanks again.
I have 2000 of these chips. There is a issue with the texture, they knock over very easliy and my cash game players complained all the time. The solution came when i sanded the faces down with a palm sander and using 120 grit. Once the textured finish is gone the chip becomes very flat. The chip will fade somewhat but the benefits are awesome.
Along with this outdoor evening game idea comes the need for wind resistant cards...ever checked out Kling magnetic board and cards or Hurricane cards?
When I first saw these online I really liked the simple easy to read design. Once I received a sample set, I have changed my mind. The texture is annoying, the printing looks blurry, and one edge has a sharp ridge on it. The rounded edge on the other side makes picking them up more work than it should be on hard surface. I would consistantly leave one chip on the table when i pick them up.... super disappointed!
I really like these chips texture and feel when i originally purchased a thousand chip set 7 years ago. They were definitely on point back then. I just decided to expand an additional 600 chips and am frustrated with my purchase. Mainly being that the colors are now faded compared to my original chips including the faded look makes the text and denominations look slightly blurry.

Considering these as a durable outdoor game set where lighting may not be ideal. Bold denoms and easy stack color differentiation and no labels to wear off if exposed to the elements make them a good choice IMO. Would stop at the 100 as the 500 seems very dark / too similar to the 100 if dim lighting.
I agree with all of this. Sounds like they wouldn't be in direct sunlight. I suspect sunlight would cause them to fade but I don't have any experience with this. Sounds like a good choice, thanks for watching.

i didnt buy a set i just bought them sepretly like i bought 8 barels of 25 for red 150 of white blue=100 chips purple 50 and 50 1000 the reason i got so many red is because we use them the most it was a total of $150 it still hasent came in ill give yall an update when it comes

i play zynga and WSOP apps and i prefer the zynga app overall. I feel like the WSOP app all though im not set on it yet may be a bit rigged or maybe provides some sort of handicap in certain situations.

How often did these get into play? I want see how long they last depending on frequency played.
I've heard that Scroll chips are poor quality, I've seen people say they do chip or break when you splash them into a pot.
Looking for a nice wooden 500 chip case for my new scrolls. Any suggestions? Don't want anything that looks cheap and will fall apart easily.

The dollar value on the center inlay is way to large. Just my opinion. Other than that, seems like an okay chip.
