Stevie Nicks has a world class vibrato that makes her voice so unique. Great reaction, thanks!
Stevie is 76 years old.
probably my fave FMac song...so wistful. This song is about her early beginnings in her career, her little bedroom, and her friend Robin who passed away from cancer. "and her memory is all that is left for you now..." Such a beautiful and haunting song about her friend
I can listen to this song over and over again. Love Fleetwood Mac and I have a special love for Stevie Nicks. This is also a top-notch video.
It was 81 when this was released and it mirrored several distinct aspects. From Stevie yearning for her younger years a mother traveling with her two young daughters portraying a vaudeville act. Running out in the rain is as a child would act. And more importantly her friend Robin who was dying of leukemia. She's just so haunting. A veritable Welsh witch. So just a lyrical temptress. Oh my Stevie.
Id forgotten about the video, but when it started i was instantly transported back to the 80s and MTV ❤
Edited for fat fingers😂
Gypsy was released as a single in August of 1982 and Mirage the album Gypsy is on was released in July of 1982
No one can sing like Stevie ,she's still performing
She's talking about a famous club Velvet Underground where all the bands played as they were coming up.
She's in her 70s now and still performing!
All us fellas was in love with Stevie back in the day.
Love this song and video. She’s so beautiful
Lightning strikes, maybe once, maybe twice...
Excellent choice. Thank you.
You mean Cyndi Lauper almost sounds like her, LOL!
😂😂😂
I don't see the similarities but he should definitely check out Cyndi doing some Etta James. Phenomenal ❤
I felt the same...looking back I now see where Cyndi often channeled Stevie vibes, she has that certain magical thing.
***LANDSLIDE*** is another vibe...something we can all relate to as we age. :)
@@theoddityshoppe landslide is one of my favorites.
❤ her voice is unique... lots of good songs. STAND BACK and BELLA DONNA r songs to definitely check out 😁 and of course LANDSLIDE is one my favorites 😍
Also she stayed covered up which u never see now a days... it was her talent not her lack of clothes that people loved
Try a deep dive back to 69/70. A great song by Fleetwood Mac is “ oh well”. ❤❤❤
Currently Stevie Nicks is 76 yrs old.
Here for one of my theme songs often blasting around me. :) ***RHIANNON*** next!
Live 1976 Midnight Special
76, now
I love the depth of your reactions . Unlike most reactors you actually listen . Gypsy.. forgot that one , what a great song !
Thanks my bro!
Gypsy = Free Spirit :)
I love Fleetwood mac this is a great song.. 👍👍✌out.
Fred Astaire danced in the rain.
Stevie is a Witch (Pagan). There's so much to admire about this lovely lady. Her and I don't agree on our politics, but we agree on a lot more than we disagree on. Fantastic voice❤
How did you pick that up
@@MugnifyRTS in our circles we know. A lot has to do with what she says. A lot has to do with symbolism. It's hard to explain. We just know.
I think shes singing about moving on from a relationship, specifically her relationship with Lindsey Buckingham. He was the bands guitarist and really their driving force in terms of putting songs together and recording.
She's 76. This is my theme song. Thank you. She put out a song last month just as good. It's called "The Lighthouse" 50 years after this one.
Cindy could not even carry Stevie's luggage. Realms apart. It's ok though as I'm just not a fan of Lauper. Gypsy is beautiful. You must do This Band Live. Impressive.
