- In the 3rd episode of our #VisitMississippi fishing tour, we're heading out to Cat Island 10 miles off the coast of Mississippi with Shore Thing Charters to spend 2 days fishing around an uninhabited island. We get into some MASSIVE redfish, bull sharks, tripletail, and speckled trout. Then we're cooking up a good old southern seafood feast of softshelled crabs, shrimp, redfish and trout back at base camp.

Thank you for mentioning we were the landfall from Katrina the news just loved covering new Orleans and they referred to us as the land mass between Louisiana and Alabama when they did finally show a glimpse of south Mississippi on the news

Shark meat is fantastic. When you clean him, you just steak the tail to the rib cage about an inch a slice. Yum!

I would love to see some northern trips of you going to Virginia during the red drum season and experiencing the insanity up there. Austin from Finao sport fishing is a freakin legend cobia fisherman that could get you on a carpet of reds in the summer. He’s well known and has captained a lot of trips for BlacktipH. Absolutely love seeing the triple tail fishing! Such a great tasting fish.
I know this isn’t a Panama kayak video but can we get a video of the whole tackle, rod&reel set up, kayak/s etc I offshore fish the outer banks of nc on head boats but I want to kayak fishing it with some guys I know and don’t know where to start, right now I’m manly set up for head boat fishing but would love to see and hear what you have for us on the knowledge part of kayak fishing offshore
