I did my backsplash and didn’t use a drop of glue . Used the double stick tape and the edging strips around the entire perimeter! Looks much much better and gave it a more finished look !
Man that looks so much easier than installing a tile backsplash and it came out awesome 👌.
Glad I came to your video before installing mine. The instructions say to work from left to right. It makes more sense to work from the corners out.
This is beautiful! Exactly what I am going to do to go with my plaster relief ceiling I have been working on for years
I'm doing these when I buy our next home. So much easier than tile and so cool looking!
i was just going to shop for tiles I saw these photos of peoples new range hoods with these backsplashes behind the oven so I googled it & found this place..cutting all those tiles id have to have bought a new tile saw & its so time consuming this is nice looking & so simple even I could do this
Great step-by-step instruction plus the finished project looks really nice with the countertop.
I love this look for DIY backslash and covering a DIY kitchen island....Easily cleanable!
Can I use this on a kitchen island top?
Exactly what I was looking for
Thank you so much
Glad to hear!
I'm about to do this in my kitchen. I'm using a beadboard fasade. I think these are love and they look so much easier to clean than tile.
A Unibit would be best for drilling the hole and some right or left hand offset snips for cutting the metal. Straight snips are good for straight lines.
Great video what tyoe of nails were you using? Thank you very much for your help.
Can you use the length for the height my granite just got installed and its 20" to my cabinets?
Can you place this product over ceramic tiles?
The tape was used to help the tiles set. Caution must be used when applying tape over hand finished colors to avoid removing the finish. Frog tape seems to work best.
Can this be put over existing ceramic tile backsplash?
Yes, you can use a product called AcrylPro, its a floor tile adhesive.
That' pretty cool :)
Nice job. What's the masking tape's purpose at the 7:20 mark.? At 7:27 there are multiple pieces on the tile.
Also, does this tin clean well??
I love it. Where did you buy the ceiling panel from?
all hardware stores carry them Menards, lowes etc
I have ugly glass mosaic in a house I'm going to buy. Would it be better to cover up the tile rather than ripping it out?
Hi, I could not tell rather you were overlapping the edges or are you butting to gether? And my second question is the large piece of trim, did that come with the panels, or can you buy that separate and match it up?
Thanks
Edges overlap so as to maintain a consistent 1/2" separation.
Great! nice, easy explanation from the beginning to the end.
My counters don't have a back lip on it. In other words it is flat to the wall and does not come up. Is there something I should do so water don't get behind the counter?

I am concern about the paneling rusting as I have applied tin panel to a backsplash in my kitchen. Does these panels rust over time?
Greetings, our 'Backsplash Tin Panels' have a clear protective finish applied to them to make them rust-resistant.

An excellent way to install the kitchen #backsplash with the help of expert knowledge. Great job.
Looks awesome. What Pattern and color did you use? Is that pattern and color available at HomeDepot?
Thanks for feedback! This is Pattern 3 in Silver Brushed Bronze. Pattern 3 is available on Home Depot, however, this color is only available on our website: www.americantinceilings.com/pattern3-bs/
@@Americantinceilings “Artisan Silver Brushes Bronze”?
@@LeeH-Ranger83 Yes, Artisan Silver Brushed Bronze
@@Americantinceilings - I just ordered a “sample” square. Do you have a distributor in either San Antonio or Fredericksburg, Texas?
@@LeeH-Ranger83 Hi, we do not. We mainly sell from our website - www.americantinceilings.com/
I don’t like it when a company or person doesn’t answers the questions . It would help a great deal .
Do the nails in the nail strips stay exposed ? Thank you
We just installed these panels in our kitchen and the brad nails are not noticeable. We did use the touch up paint to cover the heads but it was not necessary. We used the heavy duty Liquid Nail glue and brad nails to install because I have a duel fuel stove. I was worried about the heat causing the glue to loose it's contact. Within 24hrs, the panels are still nice and tight to the walls with no pulling away. We used the rubbed oil bronze color panels purchased from our local Lowe's and they look awesome in my Tuscan kitchen. I love these panels due to the fact they were easy to install, the versatility, color selection, and they are easy to clean as well! I highly recommend them to anyone! They are costly, but they where still cheaper than buying tile, grout, and mortar and then paying a contractor to install the tile. You save money due to the fact you are able to DIY and not pay a contractor to install these. Sorry so long a review, but I hope this helps!

We used this and it rusted through by our sink.
Why do you make air pocket problems when you apply the adhesive? Seems like a problem waiting to happen.
Hi, the backsplash panels adhere flush against the wall. When installed properly, there would be little to no spacing or air pocket behind the panels.
Whats a nail rail?
What is a “brad nail”? Can I use tac nails and tap them in?
Ultimately, it is the construction adhesive that holds the backsplash panels onto the wall. Nails are sometimes used to clamp the panels tight while the glue dries. An 18 gauge brad nail has a head about the size of a ballpoint pen, but any small headed nail will serve this purpose. We also have decorative, cone head nails that can be used for this purpose. They can be found here: www.americantinceilings.com/cone-head-nails/
Wish you would have showed that area above sink that goes higher.. That seem trickier to make the pattern match up there..
This is our newer version of a backsplash installation video. This may better answer your question - th-cam.com/video/_17GNvgDg7M/w-d-xo.html&feature=emb_logo
...thinking of doing this to the inside ceiling of my van (currently bare metal)...like if yah wanna help nudge me to empty it out and prep the project. #salvagevanlife
i thought for sure that drill bit was going through his leg.. not to smart on his professional end
How money
Great install right up till you used WHITE caulk?? Looks terrible.

What is that background noise? Is that someone talking while you're (trying) to film this video?
I can hear them better than I can hear you (trying) to explain how to do this..

Once again... background Noise!!

Still MORE background NOISE... Come on now... You should have just voiced over this video.
Hi, here is the youtube link to our newer backsplash installation video: th-cam.com/video/_17GNvgDg7M/w-d-xo.html&feature=emb_logo
Hes has lits of tolerance , thats a good thing haha😅🤦
Why not start in the center?
Hi, thank you for your question. We show starting in the corner and working outwards, but you can start wherever you prefer.
Thanks!
With the adhesive you are not suppose to make a full connecting square on the back.....this allows air to be trapped behind the backsplash. It's better to make tight waves. Start at the top corner go down to the bottom and back up to the top. Sideways 'S' pattern.
well can you please make us a video showing us the right way?
lol thats what im saying also
as long as you get adhesive on the panels and close to corners and such it will stick liquid nails is pretty sticky stuff
you did a good job installing and everything but personally I hate the look
Why would you put up a video with this much background noise???? I could not watch/listen!
