Tip on Acid washing clothes: Depending on the fabric you may want to dilute the bleach because bleach will eat away at the fabric and if you aren't careful your clothes can rip in half in the wash. I run an Etsy shop and some of my products are acid washed and I can't count the number of times I've had to restart orders because i didnt dilute the bleach enough. Denim is the best for undiluted bleach and Cotton is the weakest/will need the most dilution. I find polyester fabric doesn't bleach well but doesn't tear either. always test your fabric first!
@@skyborn_cobra3006 depends on the fabric. for cotton or more delicate materials, I usually do about 40% bleach to 60% water, for more medium weight shirts or stronger fabric its about 30% water and 70% bleach, and for thin jeans or light denim its 90% bleach and for true denim or really strong/tough jeans its 100% bleach. I usually play it case by case- if the shirt/jeans are lightweight and feel weak pre-bleach i add more water- if the shirt is heavy, thick, or the jeans are stiff i use less water. if I feel like it will rip in the wash or if it will tear after multiple washes i use more water. the ratio depends on your fabric but i use those stated above as a starting point
Jesica Boren I used the exact same spray as her and style so it came out almost identical except the orange looks a bit brighter but it’s very sunny where I am, really love the results!
I’ve been looking for the random bleach spot effect rather than a specific pattern. I love the look like it got tangled in a load of whites. Thank you for this!
Gave this technique a shot the other day and it came out great! Did several black shirts, a pair of black jeans, and some dark gray underwear. Also tried a lime green shirt with interesting results!
this is so helpful thank you! if you do multiple shirts at once would you be able to put them in the washing machine together or do you need to make sure you only wash one shirt at a time?
@@AnimeContentHD hey bub, did you use bleach and neutralized it or used a product that has bleach in it? Also, how long you waited and did the bleach affect the material in any way?
Hey girl. Will this exact same method work on a black hoodie? Or should I approach a hoodie differently? Seems like it would work the same but I want to get your input on it. Thanks!
Idk how many of these I've seen, but this was the most simple and best looking 👏🏽
Emmanuel Gonzalez thank you! glad i could help

I did this very thing.. pieces of 3 tshirts after bleaching and washing were in my washing machine.
How would you go about diluting the bleach
@@skyborn_cobra3006 what do you mean? If you mean what t dilute it with, you dilute it with water.
@@12caratjules i mean how much water like the ratio

Did you do it? Let us know how it turned out :)
Jesica Boren I used the exact same spray as her and style so it came out almost identical except the orange looks a bit brighter but it’s very sunny where I am, really love the results!
The Gamer Mig that’s awesome! I’m going to try on my kids Metallica shirts so they can match that’s great to know thank you :)
Jesica Boren good luck, that coil method leaves a really cool effect!

Is the shirt wet? Or are you starting off with a dry shirt?
she said in a different comment that she started with a dry shirt!
I loved how this came out. I just did it to my hocus locus shirt and I wished I had watched your video first lol
I love how this is short and simple
I love how simplistic this tutorial is with minimal supplies
the reckless one looks like flames, thats dope (sry if u said that in the video lol im not watching w audio)
Did you get your shirt wet first? Or did you put the bleach on it while it was dry?
jillian potcher while it was dry
Exactly what I was looking for! Was the shirt wet when you started?
It's much easier and less time consuming if you use elastic bands to hold it together!
you're hyping me up to do this & you're so pretty like omg🤪💛
YAAAAY!!! This is my fav bleach T video I’ve come across!! Will be making tees for Christmas 🖤
What type of shirt do you use to give it this effect ? :) cotton or cotton/polyester ?
Thank you for sharing this video. You make it look so easy. I will give it a try. Keep up the great work.
Just made a bleach shirt for the first time and it came out so nice! Thank you girl 👏🏾
Bjr Belle photo ton sourire es une belle parfum de la journée
Do u just use normal bleach?
this is so helpful thank you! if you do multiple shirts at once would you be able to put them in the washing machine together or do you need to make sure you only wash one shirt at a time?
you can wash them all together!!
Love your shirt ! I wish I used a spray bottle so that mine came out like yours! mine has too much bleach 😭
Did you know some black shirts have grey fabric underneath them so they dont get the orange effect it's more a rust brown
That’s what mine did
@@AnimeContentHD hey bub, did you use bleach and neutralized it or used a product that has bleach in it? Also, how long you waited and did the bleach affect the material in any way?
The rusty look looks fire it happened to my black shirt :))
Thanks for this Sarah!! You make it look so easy. Looking forward to trying this :)
How long did it take you overall?
Bruhhh prob the most simple tutorial, yet it looks on point!
You can also neutralize it with peroxide water. 9 parts water 1 part peroxide. Peroxide deactivates bleach.
Hey girl. Will this exact same method work on a black hoodie? Or should I approach a hoodie differently? Seems like it would work the same but I want to get your input on it. Thanks!
it will work the same!
Is there a way to control the color? Instead of orange ?
After you wash it can you put it to wash with other clothes for future washes?
yes!
If there’s a picture on the shirt will the bleach affect it in any way?
Can you do this with other colors than black? Have you ever done this with a stencil?
Omg must try thanks for the simple steps and Making it look easy for first timers :) thank you gave ya a follower 🙃

Is it better to put your vinyl on first? Does it matter?
Suddenly, youtube recommended this to me.
And I like it!
Can i put multiple bleached shirts at once?
Did you use a wet or dry shirt?
Hey should we wet the shirt before bleaching it??
Do you wash it right after? And do you start with a dry shirt or damp?
I really love how it turned out so good. Thanks for this...😊👊👍
Sweet. I plan on doing this
Great vid. Best one I have found on the subject. Keep it up kid!
If I’m doing 2 shirts at once can I wash them at the same time???

Besides the basic ass music everyone uses. Good tutorial
you are awesome!! thank you for sharing! I was so nervous about and my project turn out great!
We have the same exact washing machine... also you are so pretty
Can you do this to a black bathing suit
I followed the video thoroughly, but I didn't get that orange spot lol because it resulted to white. Can someone explain to me why?
This was so perfectly and simply shown thank you!!!!!!!
If I leave it on longer, will it get even lighter in color!? Or will it make the fabric too fragile?
it won’t matter how long you leave it on the fabric usually determines how light or dark it’ll get!
Question, the Bleach is mixed with water?
This was such a nice video
does this effect the graphic on front at all i wanna try this lol
dope af!! great video
Is there a way to get the spots white and not Orangeish?
We’re did u get the shirts from?
Can you wash multiple shirts that you bleached together, or does it have to be one at a time?
Rayfe you can wash multiple together
Sarah McLeod Thank you :)
okay so after that initial wash by itself, it's safe to wash with other clothes after that right? sorry if that's a dumb question🥺
Lo Gullage yes it is! not dumb either :)
Is this a 100% cotton shirt?
If I wanted to do a bulk of these, can I wash them all together or do I still need to wash them separately?
you can wash them all together!
@@SarahMcLeodOnTH-cam thank you
if i'm doing this to multiple items of clothing can i wash them together?
Yes, you can, if it’s with bleach, you can put as many as you like, but even if one of them isn’t, don’t put it in, as it will ruin it
Anyone else see a dog on the back of the shirt? Just me?
Mary A oh yeah I see a bear
saw jake paul
I definitely see a face!
I was so thirsty that I washed the shirt without rinsing the bleach out first !!! Is that bad ???? 😨
I think it’s that’s ok
Mine turned out so good thank you!!
U on point with it....can u do a black pants tutorial ?
Was the shirt damp before you applied the bleach ???
19 Rager nope!

Natalieee either or

Sanika Dhawan no you don’t have to

Lo Kllgg nope it shouldn’t! & i’m glad it helped!
Solid bleach design... but how the hell did u fit those talons in them gloves lol ps... I'm doing this to my napalm death shirt ;)
If i dont have a washing machine at home, can i just wash with my hands in the sink and let it air dry?
Jessica Toc yes that would work, i recommend using gloves though!
Loved this!!
How long do you let it sit there when ur done spraying each side?
just until i can see the color has changed
How to use this method with a white shirt?
This helped me a lot, thank youuu
Look like inverse tiger print good video
the fact that we have the same last name😌
Can i do this to a green or a blue shirt?

Ok thank you do i have to wet the shirt before?
