I was literally just watching your box braids tutorial today hoping you'd do another extensions tutorial!! My hair has a lot of heat damage so I need help hiding it while growing it out, can't wait to try extensions/braids this summer. Thanks for these videos!
Jaleesa Moses I need help my hair is sooooo thin and it's breaking tremendously. I have box braids now. But what are some products to use to keep my hair moist and more healthy.
I've been following you for a long time now (YEARS), and I'm just so happy for all of your growth and success! You're so relatable, and I love how transparent you are. Congrats on your 1M subbies 🎉 from a fellow member of the "Awkward Black Girl" Club - I mean that in the highest regard. Stay beautiful, in and out.
Thank you thank you thank you for making this! It's so easy to follow along. I've had a really hard time finding a video I got well enough to help me with my own hair. I'm going to give this another go next weekend!
your hairstyle really IS a work of art! :D Its so beautiful and OMG I dont think my arms could take it for the time it takes to do this. Wow! So beautiful.
You did great job. This will never go out of style. So cute on you. And yes. It could take up to two days especially with thick hair like yours. I'm definitely doing this in a few days.
This video just made me subscribe to your channel, so clear and professional on your explanation, can´t go´on without saying the twists came our GORGEOUS!! The color and everything, I dont think I need a professional to do it after this tutorial lol, I feel empowered hahah
I love these! I'm debating against these twist or the Meagan Good dreads, you encouraged me to try to do this myself lol. It seems way easier. Congrats on hitting 1 mill :))
This is such a well thought out video! I'm actually considering trying this out! &' You covered everything! My hair is always curly &' it's getting so boring but I don't do heat so this is defo gonna be the next thing I do ☺️
OMG Jaleesa! It`s so much work! (I never have patience to do my hair) It`s definitely an art 👍🏼 Love it! BTW you look amazingly beautiful with any hair style 💗
I have braids I do them myself too😊 I know braids and twists are not the same thing but they both take a while to install but they are so worth it!!! you look so good💞💞💞💞
hello!! I saw that with these twists you had a bob style too with blunt ends that I thought looked amazing !! I was wondering how you secured the ends of those? thank u in advance !!
I never knew the kanekalon braiding hair could look so good for the twist style.....I always thought I had to buy the marley kinky hair to hold the twists in place..... thanks so much for sharing …..your twists are beautifully done...….P.S.....how do your fingers fill after so much twisting.....
Where did you buy your Bobbi Boss Jumbo Braid ultra lightweight. I have been looking for it in the colors you mentioned (P4/27, 4, and 6). I can't find it. Please let me know.
+CGKittenz I set it with hot when my twists were larger but when they're this small, it's fine. I just didn't want to show that part and then someone end up with 2nd degree burns 😳
Can you/did you wash your scalp while having these in? If not, how long did you keep them in before needing to take them out to wash? PLEASE ANYONE CAN ANSWER THIS! I did this style some months ago (but too loose) & kept them in for 4 weeks before taking them out to wash my hair! Would love to keep for 2 months & wash at least twice!
Omg Jaleesa 😩 these are sooo good like professionally good. I tried them on myself but didn't last long because although I'm African American, I have finer hair & they slipped a lot. I initially tried the twist method at the root of my hair but as above stated, the fineness of my hair didn't allow for a good grip like yours. Thus I started off with a single braid quickly transitioning into a twist. I also had issues with them unraveling & consistent size of each twist! If u have any pointers on how to combat these issues, plz dnt hesitate to respond. Thanks 😘
I don't know how you girls do it. even if I didn't have a full time job I can't imagine ever having the energy to do this myself! I'm currently rocking the same style, but I go to the Africans and let them do it. lol yours came out really nice though. I wish I could do my own as well!!
+Shannon Clyd you could do without the extensions but the texture of the extensions is what keeps it from unraveling. If your hair doesn't have texture, you can use clear bands to secure.
Ok, your hair is definitely a piece of art! it so soooo beautiful!! And it looks so good on you, stunning. I have fine thin Caucasian hair... do you think I can do this to mine?
You really have a head full of hair, your natural hair...when it gets longer whooh Chile...I can tell ur gonna get alot of its not the same "she mixed comments"... Love your hair😍
Your braids at the end of the video look different. Are they the same set you did in the beginning after a few weeks? Or are those a completely new set of braids?
Jaleesa Moses I think they are different, there slightly bigger braids. I think it was a different video, your wearing a different top too. It's cool, your twists tutorial is the easiest I've seen! Kudos!
+AngieSoEpic360 if they're small like this, you'll be fine. When they were bigger, I had that issue but braided the ends a bit to prevent and it still worked out!
GIRL! I subscribed today to your channel just on the strength of this video! I love this look and your technique. You just saved me HUNDREDS of Dollars because I can do this myself. Can this get wet? I'm going on vacation and want this look for vaca!
I just finished my twists ! All I had to do was watch this video a few times and I had all the info I needed! Thanks a lot:)
You are literally soooo pretty!
I've never had braids or twists before ever, and I think I wanna get twists now! They look so beautiful on you!

+Natural Hair Ideas By Joy this would be the perfect transition style!!! Let me know how it goes
Jaleesa Moses I need help my hair is sooooo thin and it's breaking tremendously. I have box braids now. But what are some products to use to keep my hair moist and more healthy.

This is such a well thought out video! I'm actually considering trying this out! &' You covered everything! My hair is always curly &' it's getting so boring but I don't do heat so this is defo gonna be the next thing I do ☺️
When cutting your twists did you have to put anything at the ends of them to keep them from coming loose?
They look so nice really suits you ❤️ and I love the soothing music in the back! Xx
Great tutorial! It was clear and slowed up in places where needed. Gotta do my own hair during these covid times. Thank you!
OMG Jaleesa! It`s so much work! (I never have patience to do my hair) It`s definitely an art 👍🏼 Love it! BTW you look amazingly beautiful with any hair style 💗

hello!! I saw that with these twists you had a bob style too with blunt ends that I thought looked amazing !! I was wondering how you secured the ends of those? thank u in advance !!
LOVE this video, you said about taking some hair out when they are too heavy, do you reuse the hair? howd you do thisss?
omg im in love with your hair !
Well done tutorial, Jaleesa!🤗
Do you not have to tie the ends of the twists? Will it stay secure as is with no help?
Your hair looks so bomb! ! good job
Did you do these again recently with a different texture hair?
would you recommend this for shoulder/neck line length hair? they're beautiful on you
Any length hair works!
You're so pretty omg
I love your hair! so wanna try this
Very pretty I love them!
Yes you did such a great job that they are a work of art.
I never knew the kanekalon braiding hair could look so good for the twist style.....I always thought I had to buy the marley kinky hair to hold the twists in place..... thanks so much for sharing …..your twists are beautifully done...….P.S.....how do your fingers fill after so much twisting.....
Where can I buy the hair?????
Love this!!! Subbed yay your almost at a milli 💛💛💛
do you secure your hair at the end or leaving like that?if i do it to natural hair only will it be a succees?
hi congrats on 1 million!!, also can you recommend any other brand if one isn't able to get their hands on Bobbi Boss hair
You can use any brand of straight beauty supply bulk hair. I used Isis Collection for my first set and loved that hair too!
Where did you buy your Bobbi Boss Jumbo Braid ultra lightweight. I have been looking for it in the colors you mentioned (P4/27, 4, and 6). I can't find it. Please let me know.
Yaaaay! Been waiting on this video! They look awesome, and great job on the video too! :)
You did a good job i love the results 😊👌🏾
Jessica Rausier cf
After you twisted the hair did you set it by dipping it in hot water? It helps with smoothing the hair out and reduces frizz.
+CGKittenz I set it with hot when my twists were larger but when they're this small, it's fine. I just didn't want to show that part and then someone end up with 2nd degree burns 😳
LOL I suspect 2nd degree burns wouldn't be fun at ALL 😵
Truly amazing. Great job ❤️❤️
Did you use all of the packs of hair?
how many did u have in your head
You didn't show how you parted the hair
Where'd you get this sweater from? It's so cute!
Its really hard for me to get that part sigh, the twisting at the root and thats what i love to see
Omg Jaleesa 😩 these are sooo good like professionally good. I tried them on myself but didn't last long because although I'm African American, I have finer hair & they slipped a lot. I initially tried the twist method at the root of my hair but as above stated, the fineness of my hair didn't allow for a good grip like yours. If u have any pointers on how to combat these issues, plz dnt hesitate to respond. Thanks 😘
Great tutorial.
Would this work on 2b hair?
Are twists softer than small braids?
love love love!! I def will be doing this during the summer
I don't know how you girls do it. even if I didn't have a full time job I can't imagine ever having the energy to do this myself! I'm currently rocking the same style, but I go to the Africans and let them do it. lol yours came out really nice though. I wish I could do my own as well!!
Ima try this look I hope it works for me OMG I just love your look
When she said 8 hours the first day I was like that's my sleeping time left in the day # lazygirllife
How many packs of hair did you use...I'm finally getting around to them tomorrow or Wednesday!
never mind...I missed it the first time...so about 5 1/2 packs...
You are so beautiful 😍 and also did you dip these twists like you would do with braids?
How do you tie it?
How many bags should I use
💖 Easiest instructions for twists!
Hi do you part your hair or just grab hair and twist
Hi Jaleesa, how do you keep the braids looking moisturized?
+tender575mw they end up just looking moisturized. It's probably the castor oil
How long did these last for you?
how long does it take to make these twists ? 😚
Maria Josepha she said 2days
It looks stunning!! I love it! Let's say if you have long hair would you still need the extensions for the volume? or could you just go without them?
+Shannon Clyd you could do without the extensions but the texture of the extensions is what keeps it from unraveling. If your hair doesn't have texture, you can use clear bands to secure.
Thanks!
If you ever plan on doing boxbraids could you make another video? That would be awesome!
Yea but how you do da back if you can't see
I don't want to seem ignorant but is this possible with 3b fine curls? I have had micro braids before but never twists
Absolutely! They would look beautiful on you
How Long can u Keep them in
How long did these last?
Do you think i could use my own straight/wavy hair?
Hatice Sari am sure it wil turn out beautiful....try it and see..🤗❤️
Ok, your hair is definitely a piece of art! it so soooo beautiful!! And it looks so good on you, stunning. I have fine thin Caucasian hair... do you think I can do this to mine?
YESS!! I've been waiting for this video. Thank you!!❤️❤️
Best tutorial EVER!!
Wow your gorgeous & so is your hair! 🤩🤩
+tinyyuki lol idk they're literally the same. 🤗
Jaleesa Moses I think they are different, there slightly bigger braids. I think it was a different video, your wearing a different top too. It's cool, your twists tutorial is the easiest I've seen! Kudos!
hello Jaleesa
can you write me the reference and the number of your strands please ( sorry for my english i'm french)
thank you
wow your hair looks amazing. I want to try this but I feel it might unravel.
+AngieSoEpic360 if they're small like this, you'll be fine. When they were bigger, I had that issue but braided the ends a bit to prevent and it still worked out!
Thanks I'll give it a try ♥
Was your hair blow dried, hair dried, or damp?
GIRL! I subscribed today to your channel just on the strength of this video! I love this look and your technique. You just saved me HUNDREDS of Dollars because I can do this myself. Can this get wet? I'm going on vacation and want this look for vaca!
