Hello? My on board dash check is showing that I have a problem with the electronic gear shift lever on a Volvo FM9. Is there any other way to verify that the problem is gear shift lever and not anywhere else? Of course I have gone through the cables and fuses which don't seem to show any short or blow out.

We have a i shift in 2008 . It has issues. Most time will not go in gear. Then once in a blue moon selects 1 or R but then locks im gear even with brake pedel on. And wont change or go back in neutral also until engine switched off. Any ideas. If try.select gear. After 5 seconds gearbox sign comes up and N. No faults showing on internal dashboard diagnostics on gecu
