Bach has transposed the cantata, written in Weimar, for a later Leipzig recital to G minor. Presumably, this was due to the Leipzig standard pitch, which was lower than the Weimar organ tuning, at 415 hz, which was almost counteracted by the high transposition of Bach.

The tenor has such shallow, closed-throated tones. I almost closed this off but, being Bach, I love anything he composed.
On the other hand, the male alto was fantastic!

Is this an earlier, transposed version of the piece? It sounds in g minor rather than F#. And the alto aria sounds in Bb rather than A.
