I am amazed by the responses of the horses when I see their response to individuals with challenges. They seem to have a sense for the more fragile and allow contact not permitted by others. The Guard are also so respectful, moving their ride closer. Honourable Horse and Guard.
Human kindness at its finest! Very attentive to special needs people - so gratifying to see a huge animal being guided by an empathic guuard to respond. ❤
A friends 7 year old daughter was very poorly and fragile following kidney cancer treatment. She came to see my 800kg Clydesdale. I was amazed at how gentle he was around her, he’s a mellow guy anyway, but with her, he was especially careful. I’m convinced he knew she was weak and treated her with complete understanding.
I’m 72. Many animals display their understanding and become gentler when they encounter someone with disabilities. Far to many people, sad to say do not.
I saw a guard's horse on another video paying attention to who appeared to be a special needs man, as well as infants. They appeared to be instigated by the horse, not the guard, so a bit of a social extrovert. I guess the horses need to be that.
What a beautiful moment; I'm so glad you caught it on video! Judging from the way the horse responded, it seems obvious that he knew he was meeting someone special. Animals' instincts are so much sharper than those of humans! Kudos to the guard for his kindness!
Very true however, keep in mind these Sentries are very elite soldiers and their training and protocols are extremely Ridgid. So if a guard seems distant and inflexible think about what they are doing, whom they are guarding and the responsibilities they are tasked with. They are very much like the Tomb guards at Arlington national Cemetery. Tomb guards are tolerate of very little disrespect and are quick to put disrespectful visitors in their place.
This guard doesn’t take any nonsense from the tourists and has one of the loudest shouts when they touch the reins. But he also has a big heart ♥️ proud of the way you represent our country. 🇬🇧🇬🇧 Buska as always the best…
I liked it when he let her touch his boot/stirrup. The way he was looking down and making sure the horse was a gentle as possible. I’ll be honest put a tear in my eyes.
He realized she didn't know where she was placing her hand, so he didn't say anything. God Bless this soldier for being so kind. And i loved that the father thanked the soldier. Respect both ways. Just wish more people showed it to the guards all the time ❤
It’s wonderful to see how huge horse can also be so gentle. The horse immediately turned his head towards her. He holds his head lower and still so she can reach.
These guys always blow my mind. Elite British soldiers on one of the most demanding duties in the forces and they often take the time to make the small gestures that mean the world to people. Like posing with kids in Guards uniforms or making sure disabled kids are treated with kindness.
That made me cry. What a beautiful thing to do. The horse and the guard both in sink to the gentleness that was needed. Both of them are amazing. The forces should be honoured to have them in ther ranks.👍💕😍❤️
This Kings Guard brings credit to his service, his regiment and himself. The beauty is he is not the only one that does this. My respects young man - from a thirteen year RAF veteran '75 - '88
😊it takes nothing to be kind, but it leaves a lasting effect on he people around you. I'm sure that Father and that girl will rememeber it for a while. Living in North America. Sometimes I have to look for videos like this to remind myself there are decent people who exist in ‘authority’ positions, who would choose kindness, even if it's on the edge of the rules or traditions. Wish this man the best. And you for that matter. :)
Even the horse can feel the vibe from the young lady that she herself is precious. What a lovely moment for the young lady that she'll be able to treasure, and a thankyou to the man for his acknowledgement to the guard for his assistance. It doesn't take much to smile and be kind to others❤❤❤
What a sweet moment. And the father thanked the guard. Better manners than most "normal" people. What a beautiful smile. You have places to go, sweetheart.
How respect works both ways. A simple gesture from the guard and a "Thank you Sir" from her dad. The smile on her face said it all ... including the guards response in a little side smile. Bless.
That smile on her face and her father was so heartwarming brought tears to my eyes. The guard just made her day, Thank you, sir for putting a beautiful smile on her face.
How wonderful. That young girl was so happy to pet the horse as well as touch the guards boot. To feel the muscle in the horses neck and shoulders she can see what she is feeling. Thank you young man for letting this young girl touch so she could see.❤❤❤
Look at the smile on that woman’s face! I think we’ve seen this fellow before doing sweet acts of respect and kindness with such graciousness. It’s very moving. He does the King and his people proud.
This makes me teary eyed. Acts of kindness are hard to find in this modern world. Especially for the less fortunate. That made the blind lady so happy, bless her. I wish her the very best for the future and hope she lives a happy life.❤
This shows so beautifully how the horses know something is different with this person, the joy on her face is priceless and the memory of that moment will last her lifetime. She touched a Kings Guard's Horse thanks to the love shown by that Guard. Ty Sir your not only a wonderful Guard your a true gentleman. TY Buska loved this one a lot, wish there were more like it. Wow what an amazing moment…and how wonderful to see the man express his thanks to the guard! Too many people just walk away without even acknowledging the guard. Nice to see not all tourists are rude!
This is such a good day for the blind lady who got to touch the horse. Well done soldier you are so sweet when you need to be every one and your parents will be so proud of you and your kindness . A real Gentleman who has been brought up with manners and respect. Lovely person. 😊❤.
The horse stood rock solid still for her. The horse knew that this young lady wasn't like the rest of the crowd. Kudos to the guard & his wonderful horse!❤
This Guard doesn’t show it much, but he’s one of the guys who makes good experiences for people with disabilities. He’s so stoic when he’s being kind. He’s one of my favorite Guards ❣️
The horse moved to her to be touched.. the guard allowed it and when he saw she was blind he moved the horse to her… he understood what it meant for her to feel the horse… the father was grateful for,the understanding… proud of the soldier for his understanding and kindness
The gentle curiousity that characterizes horses will never cease to amaze me - and for this girl (and her father) to not be leery of the horse.. her smile tugs at my heart. What a lovely horse, what a phenomenal member of the kings' guard, and what a beautiful moment.
Wow Watching this in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere in California getting all choked up. What a great moment. Cheers to the guard bravo 👏
Dit is duizende smileys waard. De guards worden altijd bedankt door de familie. Van een lichamelijk beperkte bezoeker.❤❤❤. Deze mensen zijn dan dankbaarder dan een gezond mens.
She may be blind sir but she saw just how sweet you and your horse are. I hope you get to see the video of her smile. It was beautiful. Also, the dad was so happy for his daughter. You and your horse made that happen. Much respect and admiration sir.
I'm always surprised by the Royal King' Guard's kindness to the public, especially small kids, handicapped people & veterans. These are very special, sensitive Guards & Horses. Thank you !
It makes me cry when I see how these British soldiers show so much respect to their veterans and people with disabilities.. I wish that the US would do the same.
What a WONDERFUL guard to do this for this lady. You can tell by the huge smile on her face that she was very happy. It amazes me how the horses know when someone with disabilities are next to them, there demeanor is so gentle. ❤😊
The girls smile said it all brings a lump to my throat to know these fantastic Have A Heart ♥️ Not only doing their Job but notices other people’s plight Thank you so very much for the Fantastic work you do And those beautiful horses 👍👍👍❤️🇬🇧
I already hold these soldiers in such high regard but when I see videos like this I’m so touched. It takes so little effort to be kind.
Right you are, Jeanie 🙂
👍👍👍❤
Doesn't it warm your heart❤❤❤😊love to the guards
And did we all notice Dad thanked the soldier.
Wonderful comment!❤️
The smile on her face and the thank you from her father to the Guard was precious ❤

Love the gaurds ever so slight nod back to the father .
@@julianmizzi1295 aye I kinda melted at that too

Dad's "thank you" is what got me all welled up with tears. The guard's gesture meant more to dad than anyone else.
Why do people think that's her dad, they look about the same age? I thought that was her husband.
@@theshadowfax239 That is a good point. He could well be her husband.

I noticed how the horse paid special attention to her too. This whole thing was just absolutely wonderful!
The guard even nodded. What a good man.
You can't tell me that horse didn't know she was special.
Exactly right, Keldaogg - animals carry an innate sense that many humans fail to demonstrate.
Great horse, well done by all
