Hugh Grant is amazing in this (as is all the cast), but for me Simon Callow is the best as Gareth. Especially in this scene. His laugh is unbelievably infectious for me. I literally can't watch this scene without laughing. And that best man speech is superb- I wish more people would give speeches like that.
"When Bernard telled me he was was getting engaged to Lydia, I congratulated him because all his other girlfriends had been such compete dogs"! ROFL! The funniest line in the film imo and one of the best ever! The follow up bit to it was just as funny!

It's actually two words -- "Sod off." It's a British expression that's a more polite way of saying "Fuck off."
